Thanks Tracker, Stef has been using PECS for the past 6 years and the cards we use at home have both the words and pictures. The special school is really slack though and has not moved with her development (mainly due to shortages of Speech Therapists). Stef does use a lot of makiton as well. She ha...

I would like to see an article about the fact that no two people are alike let alone that no two people with autism or aspergers are alike. Or that not all with Autism are like rainman and have amazing memories...I have 3 kids with autism and they are alll totally different!

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum. I have 4 kids, three of which are on the spectrum...ages 16, 11 and 9. 16 year old is high functioning, articulate, highly intelligent. 11 year old is non verbal girl and 9 year old is high functioning with high anxiety and adhd. Myself.....I can see some traits.....
