Is there a neurological exam for being diagnosed with a form of autism by a doctor? Someone I know is repeatedly told that they are socially awkward, walk strangely, have strange interests, delayed learning in some areas. But they appear to be completely normal otherwise. I can never get used to hugging and things like that.
One of the reason I don't like handshakes is because I have very skinny hands and I have no strength in my hands because of it.
Hugging and handshakes are the most uncomfortable feelings to me.

Autism comes in many forms, some autistics are very low functioning but some are very high functioning.
There can be many many many differences between different autistic people.
The best way to put it, in my opinion, is simply "Wrong Planet Syndrome".

There have been suggestions that nicotine patches may help!
It's a safer alternative to cigarettes but don't overdue do it or you may become addicted to the patches!

All of it is still conjecture though.
