Actually people with autisum have proved time and time again that they are at least above average when it comes to intelligence, this isn't an opinion either its a fact that we are naturally more intelligent then average people. There is no such thing as proof of intelligence. No matter what study ... |

I'm not getting any of the positive aspects of Aspergers. Some people say Aspies are more intelligent than other people, which I doubt. Plenty of non-aspie geniuses, right? Being smart is not a symptom. It probably has little to do with the disease as a whole. There is no upside to this. You either... |

Life is subjective; there is no one correct, objective way to look at it. If you are going to compare yourself to others, and loathe on what you don't have rather than just move on and live your life, then that's not really rational or productive. I didn't have any friends in high school even though... |

Although I wasn't there, I have a feeling that from what you've described, S. may have seen the topic as a chance for him to just talk about *his own* issues further, seeing that relationships are an area of focus for him. Perhaps when the topic shifted to something that was *not concerning himself... |

Insinuating also means "not worthy of investing trust in" or along those lines. I know that people sometimes omit punctuation marks. So it can be taken as I'm not insinuating, I'm ugly. That's how I interpreted it. That's why. Hmm, sounds more like the definition is "insidious"? Anyways, I wo... |

im ugly No one's ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i agree with what you say but your taking it out of context I'm not, there will always be somebody in this world who appreciates you for who you are. It may take a while to find these people, but it's not impossible. For the pictures, use... |

It was set up exactly correct this time. I wouldn't change it one bit. Unlike the last meetup, we preselected a topic which helped start and guide it, and people were free to branch. Seems ideal to me. |

I'm sorry, but it's sort of hilarious you made a thread on this! :P Based on my involvement in the conversation, I don't really see your concern. It was a normal conversation and if anything was a little too hyper-focused on a very narrow issue that we selected, especially given the minimal input th... |

]I am finding this more and more about myself as well, in large part due to you and others. It has been a very gradual process, but I am certainly more uninhibited in approaching people and talking to them than I was a year or two ago. I still however have a long way to go to get where I would like ... |

I don't know if the Youtube videos are an indication of schizophrenia. There's all sorts of weird stuff on Youtube, some of it they actually call art, so how can you go by what people put on Youtube. Look truthfully at his life and the people in it. Don't try to cover up anything that incriminates ... |

I don't know if he's a schizophrenic. The media is trying to convince us he is, but we don't know that for certain. You have to look at the inconsistencies. If he is so mentally ill and irrational, why does he not talk in jail? Being worldly enough to protect one's interests while awaiting trial do... |

They only spent significant time speaking after the incident, and the Loughners have not left the house since. None of the neighbours really knew them, and even testified that they never let Jared out to play when he was young, and they would see him staring out the window. I'm not buying the part ... |

The neighbors knew them. One of their next door neighbors was on CNN talking about the Loughners reactions to what happened. It completely contradicts the media's portrayal of them! You cannot rely on the media to be truthful about the situation so you must use deductive reasoning, instead. Of cour... |

While he would need to be assessed to be certain, I would agree from what I have read that he clearly appears to strongly present with symptoms of schizophrenia, along with substance abuse. An interesting factor was that his parents were also known as loners, and nobody in the neighborhood knew them... |
