An obsolete OS that has been replaced with Win7.
Seriously, why even talk about Vista these days? If you're setting up a new PC, get Windows 7 on it. If you have an existing Vista PC, seriously consider upgrading it to 7. |

I'm fairly deaf so I tend to go around in public with my hearing aids out. I don't hear much of anything and its okay. Same at work - they're out unless someone comes to my desk to talk to me.
Crowds in general bother me so I do tend to go out of my way to avoid them. |

I have two children. I used to have stepkids also. I have trouble with the noise and constant touching of babies/toddlers but the issues fade as they get older. I'm gonig through this right now with my kids; they are three years old and while they are generally well behaved, there is a lot of screa... |

I've always been subject to anxiety, absolutely. At the moment, I'm going through a rough spell with it because my three year old son is having rough mornings waking up (reluctance to wake up, lots of screaming, etc), An hour of that getting out the door being late (I have missed my normal time comm... |

I was doing photography for a number of years and getting pretty serious with it, at least within the limits of the time I had available. In the last year, though, it's completely gone. I just don't care to pick up a camera any more, at all. |

This was a while ago now, but I met my wife on a dating site. I was lucky, I admit, to have gotten such good results so quickly. Of course, there are also the stalker types like the woman who was talking about me meeting her parents before we had even met in person once. |

I'm an undiagnosed aspie but I am pretty sure I'm on the spectrum. I only realized this recently, after my wife and I had twins via IVF. They're three now and both seem to be NT. They show sympathy to each other, are very physically affectionate, and seem to be communicating normally for their age. ... |

Leilia, you've hit the nail on the head. Making sure that this isn't just a "get of of jail free" card on my part is a very real concern to me. I want to be sure that I'm not just convincing myself I have AS as an excuse. Having said that, so far it feels right to me. I read this forum and I read th... |

In the past week, I think I've finally accepted that I am probably an aspie and it's really helped settle my mind and make me feel better about myself. I've been able to forgive myself for a lot of stupid things in my past. |

I was raised Catholic by my parents but they were never very into going to Church each weekend. I remember hitting my preteens and wanting to learn more, so I went through a phase of reading the bible every night and doing "proper" prayers on my knees. I think I quickly realized from that that the B... |

Lost it at 35. Stopped dating her a few months later as we agreed we weren't a good fit, but we're still friends. Met my now-wife a few months later. The ONLY reason any of that happened was that I was in therapy. I wasn't diagnosed as AS but it still helped me deal with a lot of my symptoms and par... |

Thanks for the welcomes, everyone. I'm still on the fence a bit about getting a diagnosis, but there is a part of me that would like to know for sure. I have a doctor visit coming up soon so I'll probably end raising the issue with her then. Already I'm finding that accepting that I'm probably an as... |

I have previous used AVAST and AVG but have switched to Microsoft Security Essentials since it came out. It's actually pretty good - it gets great ratings on accuracy in comparison tests, and it's pretty much "invisible" in terms of not getting in your way. I also like that updates come down daily f... |

I hardly ever make eye contact, but I have had a hearing disability from early childhood and quickly taught myself to lipread to improve my comprehension. Unless I make a deliberate effort, I usually end up looking at people's mouths. I find it quite hard to look at the eyes; there is sort of an emo... |

I like a lot of the things you do as well.
Degrassi is actually made in the city where I live (Toronto), so around here it's pretty well known. It's a pretty good show overall, although I've kind of lost interest in it now that the original cast has mostly left the show. |

Hi everyone, I'm new here. :-) I'm 42 and have had issues with relating with others my whole life. I didn't date until university and not all that successfully then. Although I always had friends around at school and work, I would rarely be social with them after hours. I've always been awkward, and... |
