Back in 2004, I was diagnosed with Asperger's during a short interview. For the most part, I didn't pay much attention to it, even in times when it could have helped: it was insufficiently detailed for my university. A month ago, I finally had the more detailed assessment for AS that my university's...

Could someone please post a translation of the first post? I've been trying to work out what it says, but all that I managed to get from it was a headache.

ICUE, now... where did I leave Igor? Oh, right, I left him sticking french fries between the arms of a Jacob's ladder at high school.

don't you have to know a lot of commnds to use linux? Not necessarily. It all depends upon what the user wants to use their computer for, who admins it, and how the system is set up. If someone else is the admin, and has taken care in configuring some pointy-clicky environment like KDE or GNOME, an...

Can't say that I'm fond of MS, but at least the beta MSN search still has some amusing results. Of the non-sponsored links, the top entry for best operating system is Debian, the linux distro I use, and the top entry for worst operating system is an article that states "Windows is THE WORST OPERATIN...

Why would the guy want to get into my pants? They're not his size.

For me, LCDs are the only type of monitor that I normally use. While the gridwork on the screen is irritating, it is still better than the fuzziness, flickering, and high-pitched noise of the CRTs. I also don't have desk space for external monitors (my computers are laptops).

Except for infants born to mothers with this infection, children are not at great risk of developing hepatitis B, but health-care workers, homosexuals, and intravenous drug users are. Attempts to vaccinate adults have been largely unsuccessful, however. It's easier to reach children because school ...

I hate listening to recordings of myself, but when I heard one of myself last year, I finally realised why so many people ask where I'm from, why they have such a hard time understanding me, and also why my experiment with using voice recognition software failed so badly back in high school. From a ...

I can also read books quickly, but it depends upon the paper, lighting, and the content. If I try it under the wrong conditions, I never get the same content twice. But with most books that I've read, I can read them quicker than most people (or at the very least, all of my classmates when I was in ...

I've been wearing glasses since 2001, and I'm not even going to consider contacts. While the resting on my ears and nose gets irritating and I don't like how the non-glasses part of what I see isn't clear, I don't think I could properly deal with contacts. If I could even put them in, I know I would...

Girls usually don't take an interest in backhoes so I think the operator thought you were flirting with him and were interested in dating him. Bleh, dating. I've tried that with one guy in high school for a couple months. I broke up with him about three years ago and when he is in a situation where...
