In Ireland we have Aware a charity that is specifically targeted towards helping people with depression, they have a helpline and group meetings. Would there be anything like that where you are?

Buddha said it better than I could:
Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

After reading The Happiness Hypothesis I've been doing some meditation and some Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (which I bought a book on, I don't think I could afford to see a therapist). They're both difficult in their own ways (I tried to focus on my breathing today and just kept gagging), but they h...

They're probably studying milder cases on the spectrum, but at that level should it be considered a handicap? In some cultures this would be a disadvantage to the person diagnosed depending on the attitude there. Do we all have to be the life and soul of the party anyway? I spent so long hating that...

Yuck! Rats! We only had a rat in the house once when I was a kid, I thought it was cute. The poor thing looked really scared.

Overall I love Dublin. I don't think I could live far from it, but I don't like it late on a Friday or Saturday night. Everyone goes a bit mental. Have a great holiday!

We moved in over six months ago now. We live in a high rise apartment block. It's a beautiful apartment, but I don't like having all these people around me. It's really noisy and I never feel like I'm properly alone. I feel trapped. We're going to move at the end of the lease which I'm also dreading...

Allennnorde's gonna start a cult.

I'm useless at making friends and useless at keeping them. I never know what's expected of me and it all just takes up too much of my headspace.

Talking is one of the therapies suggested for it. I also found out about the enteric nervous system , it's like a second brain in yo...
