Here are situations where I feel overloaded:

-- High-pitched noises;

-- Screaming and fighting kids at the back of a car;

-- My kids running off in three different directions;

-- Crowded stores; or whenever I do not expect crowds

There is no doubt that there are about 12 million people that entered the United States illegally. However, before bashing immigrants, it is necessary to remember several facts. 1. Most U.S. citizens are either immigrated the the United States in their lifetime from countries where they did not want...

I am going to sound very politically uncorrect, but I think the best solution is to induce all Palestinian Arabs living west of the Jordan river to move to Jordan, the de facto Palestinian state or to other Arab countries unless they are willing to acknowledge and live under Jewish sovereignty. This...

My personal relationship with Jesus Christ has given me meaning in this life, and it has given me the most solid intellectual framework to view the world. Jesus has also taken away my desire to do illegal drugs and be drunk with alcohol. I realize even during the darkest days that, according to the ...

I am one of those few Americans who actually loves follwing soccer. To me the World Cup Soccer final is bigger than the Super Bowl. I will bleed red, white, and blue, both for the United States and the Netherlands (I have Dutch ancestry). All I want is for Germany not to win the World Cup.

I have seen that movie twice. I kind of identified with Billy in the movie, because in a way, it was the story of my childhood. The saddest part of the movie is when Billy's brother Judd shoots Billy's falcon. That was utterly cruel! I also remember those scenes when one of Billy's teachers spends t...

My favorite music genre is Contemporary Christian--especially the Newsboys, Michael W. Smith, Michael Card, 2nd Chapter of Acts, the late Rich Mullins, the late Keith Green. It puts me in a good mood. I could listen to Contemporary Christian music 24/7. It also like 60s and 70s classic rock, classic...

I don't know what kind of temper I have, but I do have a temper. It really comes out when I am being verbally or emotionally bullied by someone close to me, or I am being frustrated by that same person. All it takes is sarcasm, invalidation of my emotions, or countering to really get my temper up. M...

I also have had an obsession with politics dating from my teenage years. I would identify myself as somewhat neo-conservative (I am not libertarian). I have come to the conclusion that democracy and free-market economics are the worst political and economic systems around, except for all the others....

As Aspies, we tend to get very opinionated, especially with people who disagree with us. I am a minority on this board--a committed believer in Jesus Christ, and a political conservative. I feel very strongly about my opinions, but I believe that those who disagree with me also have a right to expre...

I also love speaking in public, whether it be speeches or lectures. However, it is the one-on-one interaction with people that I have a hard time with. When I took part in Model UN exercises in college, I used to enjoy making speeches, but I hated the negotiations and dealing involved in actually cr...

There are a number of reasons why I believe that Christianity/Messianic Judaism persists. 1. Christianity/Messianic Judaism persists because they both rest on true and objective historical events that occurred in the past--the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ/Yeshua Ha-Mashiach. These...
