Hello, I started a thread a few months about getting diagnosed later in life. I had been living in Japan for the last 9 years and was concerned about the process there. Nothing ever happened over there, partially because an unplanned event caused me to suddenly relocate back to the US. So I have bee... |

Hey Peter, Yeah, that is what I have been reading. I understand that, and actually, I don't think I would even want to rewire my brain to be like a normal person even if I had the option. But I do want to be able to recognize situations and circumstances for what they actually are, kinda like from a... |

Hey Rogue, I can understand your feelings. I certainly felt more like that when I was younger, and I sure as hell wouldn't do anything due to an ultimatum given by some woman (why I longer have a relationship with my mother). I am not doing this for anyone, nor to prove anything to anyone, or find a... |

I want to get properly diagnosed so I don't waste time when learning coping strategies. I also don't want to constantly second-guess myself if I really have something or not. If I have it, then I want to focus on what I can do for that. If I don't have it, then I want to know why I seem to have it (... |

Silly tricks don't work unless the trick just happens to contribute to 'calories in - calories out'. It takes around 20 minutes for the brain to receive the information that the stomach is full, so yes, chewing slowly can seem to help control overeating. Unfortunately, this is 'trick' assumes that s... |

Yeah, that is how it is here too. I finally got an initial appointment on the 31, but my wife doesn't think that doctor will be any good for me, but it is the only option I have at the moment. I also know how you feel about the relief. I feel that way too, but at the same time I don't want to think ... |

Crossfit is definitely the exercise program to do, I wish there we had it here in Japan. But the only way to lose weight is simple math, calories consumed must be less than calories burned for energy. It is that simple, and there is no other possibility. Exercise is not a requirement to losing weigh... |

IDM is used to describe music that basically has programmed rhythms that are way too complicated for a human being to have actually played on an instrument live, so basically hyper drumnbass. It also seems to be characterized by severe sample mangling. Venetian Snares, Aphex Twin and the like. |

Well, unfortunately nothing happened on Wednesday. We went to the hospital and was promptly told that the doctor was not taking any new patients until May or so. Not really sure what to do at this point. My wife, who is a nurse and knows most of the doctors in the area, doesn't have any confidence i... |

Hey dude,
What I meant was something like this, if there were an "Electronica" radio station, I could see this being played on it. If I was in the mood to listen to something cutting edge/blow-ur-mind/just plain hard, that track would not be it. Not anything negative, just a classification. |

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I live in Japan, and I know that Japan is always decades behind the rest of the world when it comes to these kind of things. We don't have the primary care physician thing either, so I am just directly going to the local university that supposedly has the best psycholog... |

Hey dude, I listened to your composition. Considering that you used one synth to do the whole thing, I say it is very, very nice. I also don't know what the context of the composition was, the only criticism I can provide is that it sounded a little too generic/mainstream, but that may have been wha... |

Hello, I am a 32 year old male, who for the most part appears normal. I am married and have a decent career. Anyway, I just learned about this Asperger's thing, and it sounded eerily like me, so I took quite a few online tests all with the same result, I appear to be on the extreme side of the autis... |

Actually, what I wish I could learn/someone was able to teach is the ability to know what chord progressions I hear in my mind are, and then be able to write them down or program them into the DAW. As far as what people say about Renoise, I don't know why, that is just what I kept seeing over and ov... |

Cool. I wouldn't recommend trying to study from subtitles though, they are usually pretty bad. I always read the subtitles as I watch Hollywood movies here, they never really express the same amount and/or intensity of the emotion being conveyed by the English. And sometimes, like at least once ever... |
