it's just like, even direct approaches like making him compliments don't seem to work. one time i remember when i more or less directly told him that i thought he looked sexy, being so buff and all, and all he replied was telling me how he increased and altered his training routines in order to inc... |

....when you were alone in the warehouse at work once, you heard a customer call, ''excuse me? Anyone in here?'' and you felt so unconfident at the time to face any strangers and speak to them, so (knowing that they hadn't seen you in there), you quickly scarpered and hid behind stacked boxes. Then... |

Hypothetically speaking I lack sufficient data to give you an answer with any meaning. For one I am not neurotypical and do not know what I would or would not like if I were. For another aspies are a diverse group not a monolithic collective that are all the same. Given point two it is likely that ... |

This issue is six years old and the poster long gone. Why pull it up and advise on it? It is super confusing to see threads like this; I can only hope readers catch the date before investing time trying to help. Good thing I read this far. I never look at the date I just assume if it's on the first... |

If I could find a decent pair of clip on shades and not loose them I definitely would. I used to have a lovely pair of prescription sunglasses that were so dark people were shocked I could see out of them. I've never found anyone willing to dye the lenses so dark since and that was twenty years and ... |

Two things. If that's your picture I'm surprised you don't have to beat the boys off with a stick. Secondly while I doubt I'm going to convince you to not do it, or to seek professional help for your depression (although I do encourage it) can I convince you to wait until you're 30 at least? I didn'... |

I'm often interested in the correlation between AS and other behavioural traits, such as anhedonia - and this, alexithymia. I've had another run-in with my family accusing me of being "cold" and "robotic" and when my friend asked me how I felt about that, I said "I don't care." "Yeah, but how do yo... |

Chances are if you're annoying him he will let you know in no uncertain terms. Tact is not generally a strong point for Aspies. Failing that he would probably start actively avoiding you not waving like you said he's doing. |

It depends who it is and if they are expected. This. I hate it when people, even family, drop by unexpectedly and expect me to invite them in and visit. My wife's family doesn't even bother knocking . It also helps if company is coming over for an understood purpose. I'm not good at visiting but I ... |

Rhetorical questions are a good way to annoy an aspie. :-P Answering rhetorical questions is a great way to annoy an NT.  very true. On a related note, something to annoy an Aspie is to ask them "How are you?" without waiting for a reply. What's the point? Well since the correct repl... |

You don't see the point in sending out thank you cards to people if they were at the party or wedding or baby shower and they saw you opened their gift and thanked them. Exactly. Why do they need it in antiquated snail mail anyway? Save a tree send them a thank you e-mail if they weren't there. If ... |
