I'll have a few weeks in June to get away....my problem is, where should I go? I do not like sitting on a beach doing absolutely nothing. I have to be moving and 'exploring'. I really enjoy different cultures and learning how others live. I'd much rather see how the locals live than visit all the to...

Guess I'll add my two cents.... I'm 27. Mother of two (one w/ AS, the other ADHD). I never heard of AS until my son was diagnosed...once I learned more about it I realized, 'hey, that's me'. Here I thought everyone lived and thought the way I did. Seems to be I'm the 'odd' one. Oh well. I certainly ...

I'm very interested in photography however am a bit overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I need to learn. Does anyone know of a place on the net that's straight forward and easy for beginners to learn??

I need photography for dummies or something. Videos would be a plus! I'm more a visual learner.

The fact that we all live here and are similar yet so different makes my head spin. I love it. Perhaps we can all learn something from...

I agree! Secondhand books are highly over priced here as well. So much so that I've stopped going to shops all together. I don't understand why a book that has a worn cover, bent pages, and a few rips would cost nearly as much as a new one. Hm, guess everyone wants to make a buck or two. Nonetheless...

I was a Cryptologic Linguist :-) I miss the military and the strict routine.

I've been meaning to join the discussion board and introduce myself but for some reason i've found every reason not to. Not that I really didn't want to. Now that I've forced myself to sit down.... I'm 27, divorced, army veteran, mother of two (one with AS; the other ADHD). Life in our house is busy...
