Cooking from scratch. Eating raw foods more often. I'm newly vegan and make a LOT from scratch. I really only still buy (processed) fake cheese, butter, olive oil and the occasional bag of chips. The internet has a jillion recipes for anything you could ever want to make. My favorite things to make ...

I have thyroid disease and could not lose on 1200 calories, my metabolism was damaged, yours may be too. I did a 1200-1400 calorie diet for months with no results.

I've lost 44 pounds since December. I had to cut out dairy, processed foods, sugar, and wheat. Best to you!

It bears saying again that pwAS are vulnerable to abusive relationships. NT does not always mean normal. My xh is NT and he was and is an abusive husband. I have watched him do the same horrors to his 3rd wife as he did to me. I recommend all pwAS read up on signs of abuse to get it intellectually.

I wear basic makeup to look better, but I am not into trying the newest trends, eyeshadows, etc. I am not into fashion and do not like to shop - I pretty much buy the same clothes over and over. I do not like gossip and am not into popular movies like a lot of women I know. I do like to cook and cle...

I had traumatic surgical births, not uncommon these days from what I hear.

What was uncommon was that I never experienced the bonding oxytocin after birth or during nursing, I always felt very agitated.

My ND suggests at least 3 months. Avoiding gluten is beneficial for gut healing. Some people do not develop lab detectable allergies even though their bodies are being ravaged by gluten.

I personally have had improvement taking vitamin D, B12, and liquid minerals for the last 3 months. I also eat whole foods, nothing processed, few canned foods, and I am learning to make meals completely from scratch. Many foods have chemicals and hormones in them that negatively affect behavior, he...

Ethical vegetarian minus eggs for 10 years now. Same with my kiddos.
