It's super rude when people pretend.

If you really are a big jerk, then act like one. I'd rather be near an honest jerk than a pretend friend.

MarketAndChurch: May I ask what you use to make music? It is a life goal to start mixing my own electronica. I'm not sure what would come out of me as I like almost all forms of electronica. I know I have music inside me, it's just expressing it. What programs do you use? Do you need more than a Mac...

LuckyLeft: Nice to see your drawing on DA. I want to add mine too. Though yours are original. Well done! Mine are just art I've drawn from emotive stills of animes I've liked.

Nebulo: Please feel to critique my photos on DA. Tdot77.

I find lots of people use the term "friend" when they don't mean it. They really mean acquaintances. I don't need friends in that sense. SadAspy: I'm not sure how old you are, but maybe it gets better? I know when I was younger, kids were less mature, less wise, so therefore less good for making fri...

FearofMusic: Thanks so much for the advice! I will definitely take it. It sounds exactly like the way I would do it too (as in, it fits very well with my learning style). I will read about Java then read some source code, practice and play around with it as well. Thanks also for the confirmation on ...

Hi all, I am interested in learning to program in Java (mainly because I like Android and thought Java might be a good starting point for learning to program). How have people learned it? Only through school? Or did some read books and teach themselves? Any recommendations? I really just want to sta...

Now I'm trying to add the pictures I've taken.

Depending on the definition of both "need" and "friend", I require one. Maybe if I had only family, that would be okay. But are family members friends? Maybe I don't need a friend but I get really depressed when I have none. It makes me wonder why I am alive. While I am unlikely to kill myself, I wo...

Err, I understand where this is coming from, but being gay is not as easy as you make it sound. Sure it's coming along. Maybe in another couple of decades. My mom feels, for religious reasons, she shouldn't talk to me very much because I am gay. On one of the times we have spent time together, I men...

Realising that sometimes things that people say reflect more on them than on me does help a lot. I agree with this. I think most people are highly self-centered (myself included). It is hard to exist as a human and not relate to things as they pertain to you. That is natural. We can only literally ...

I like the boy shorts. That's another thing I like about bikinis, you can wear less revealing bottoms. So I guess it depends what you don't want to reveal. :) Personally, I'd rather have my butt covered. I'm not so bothered by my stomach. I like the old school bathing suit idea, but no dresses for me!

This is great! Man it sure is different than when I bought the games many years ago. I bought them online from a German games store. I guess it's good that they are all popular enough to be on Amazon. And it's great that they are now online. I have a few friends who play board games but they live an...

Not that this is overly helpful, but it sounds like you need to find a way to severe the thoughts, aka stop the cycle. For me repeating that I need to get over it helps a lot. This took some experimentation to find. In my earlier 20s, I had more difficulties but over time, with the finding of a mate...
