Does anyone get stressed about seriously messing up in a social situation, like blurting out something super-inappropriate, and having people hate you for a long time?

There was a rather interesting book that I saw a couple of weeks ago about some surprising parallels between ADHD/primarily inattentive and AS. Unfortunately, I don't remember the title or author. :(

OK, as a disclaimer, a psychiatrist said that there were some AS characteristics, but I seem to be less impaired than some Aspies. That said, it seems like everyone has their own issues - both NTs and Aspies. So sure, there are things that frustrate me now, but I think it'd be naive to say that if I...

It probably did. That would make sense. I can see a few options that could be taken with a class like this: One, ignore what they're saying about feeling because they don't have enough data to make any kind of judgement on what you should and shouldn't feel. Just take what you like from the teachin...

Wow, if it was me, it'd be a trainwreck, but I don't really know you well enough to judge. Sounds worse than a regular public speaking class... cause you're expected to interact with the audience and be passionate, not just informative. I can do passion if I'm reading from a script (like a poetry r...

This semester, I'm in a storytelling class. The prof and other grad students seem pretty NT, though it was hard to tell. Anyhow, it was like there was this huge gap. They were talking about how you should feel passionate about stories, and this sort of confused me. I like to write about stuff, but t...

I don't like websites with background music because I'm often listening to other music at the time, and the mix is never pleasant.

I think the code name for our project should be "G-DOM" for "Global Domination." It just sounds better than "World Domination."

I like the "Stim Team" one, but wish it was possible to get those shirts without the back print about autism.
