Thank you. I think I understand what you meant a bit better now. And I do agree with what you say; it's good to have both sides' perspectives so that both can learn from the other. That's one reason why I'm really glad I found this place |

Pity this poll doesn't allow you to choose two options. How do I select "engaged and in an internet relationship"? (With the same person, I mean........ not cheating on one with the other!) |

But - I would say that emotional support to an Aspie is different than what it is to an NT. Like alot of Aspies I am a problem solver but while sometimes that may be helpful that is not what my spouse is looking for. So, what I would consider support - ie let me help you examine the situation - is ... |

Don't question these things. Don't look for the meaning behind them. Don't try to find out why you have to do them. Why not -- isn't the point of this forum to be a place for asking questions like that? After all, there are NT members on the forum as well, and it seems this is just the sort of ques... |

I know. Which is why I protest that we're not all like that. |

My question is this....... Was it love or infatuation when I met my wife? How do you expect us to know from so little information? If at the time you really wanted to be with her and stay together and valued her happiness as much as your own, then it was love; when we're in love we want it to last ... |

"Disinterested" means "unbiased", not having one's own interests at stake in a question.
I only bother to mention this because I am completely uninterested in celebrities and anything to do with them. So it's not entirely an Aspie trait. |

So yes, romance has died, along with every other ideal other than those 3 - for my generation at least. Here's hoping that my generation doesn't blow up the world because most of us are a bunch of dumbf*ck morons. I understand perfectly why you're bitter...... just so long as you remember that "mos... |

My only regret would be that if i was given a cure no one would look upon the change to me as murder. I would. I agree with Bec and Nuttdan; I can definitely understand why people would want a cure for low-functioning autism (it must be especially hard on the parents....) but if someone says that p... |

Because if a woman wants to make herself look nicer, I'd prefer that she use a method than (1) does that instead of having the opposite effect; and (2) doesn't make kissing an unpleasant experience. You must understand, though, I'm not "so against" people wearing make-up in general; it would just be... |

My list was: spider, snake, shrew, seagull, sea lion, sea horse, salmon, sidewinder, sparrow, swallow. Yes, I know sidewinder is a kind of snake, but it c... |

I'd like to know from a girls point of view - why, if someone made it obvious that they really liked you, would you not reply to them? Of course I can't answer from a girl's point of view, but I don't think it's likely to be that different. One, what you think is an obvious hint might not be at all... |
