Hi all... I emailed with the folks from Aspiritech like a month or two ago, asking them how much it would cost to start up something similar to what they're doing. The founder/CEO mentioned a ballpartk figure of $250,000. I gulped, then thought to myself, "Better win the lottery before I try somethi... |

I am always interested in speaking at engagements, etc. Would love to speak at a conference like Autreat. However, I am not in a situation where I can travel overseas.
Thanks,

Hi there.....
Thanks for sharing with us through the LA Times article. I was not diagnosed until I was 40 in 2007. I am glad to hear that even though you faced a lot growing up and such, that you were able to get yourself published. No small feat in that.

Greater Chattanooga Aspies, a support organization for adults with high functioning Autism and Asperger Syndrome in the Chattanooga, TN area, is opposed totally to what the DSM-V Task Force panel is suggesting. GCA's first argument is simply.... if the DSM-V goes to eliminate everything into ASD (on... |

I'm planning out a 2013 conference already, and am thinking of someone like Temple Grandin (my preference) or someone like Dr. Steven Shore. I will consider other names as well for 2013 and beyond.

Yeah! World of Warcraft is good for us. Or so says new Swedish research. http://www.thelocal.se/33342/20110421/ Maybe all of Sweden has HFA or AS or something. I don't believe this. I could care less about WOW and my roommate (non-HFA/AS) plays it a lot and told me not to tell anyone. Like it reall... |

I think a Gallup Poll reported one time that people who had set foot in Mississippi were 12% more likely to be married than the national average. Thought that was quite interesting. |

You want to see someone that specialized in Aspergers/Autism Spectrum disorders. You probably have to pay out of pocket, as insurance typically doesn't cover this. I was quoted $1500 last year--but typical fees vary depending on where you live. If you just need reassurance that you are an Aspie, yo... |

Long story short, I'm planning on buying a house and I'm trying to make an estimated budget of how much living out of home/paying a home loan is gonna cost me. I've made some decent estimations of pretty much most things (utilities, council rates, car expenses etc), but I'm pretty much stuck on one... |

As someone who is diagnosed officially AS, I find it interesting that you wrote how he would cheat on you (then mentioned in detail what he did). The research on AS shows that one of the traits of anyone with AS it loyalty, almost extreme loyalty. So, I guess there's a bad apple or two in every bunc... |

Mental condition or not, he sounds like a jackwagon to me.
