Contrary to the claims of most in this thread, I do not believe that it is possible to be good at science and bad at math. It simply is not possible to understand science beyond the shallowest popularizations without a thorough understanding of several branches of mathematics. At best, without math...

Aaron, if you are a guy you can only be bi and like both men and women, straight or homosexual. Take your pick. You are physically unequipped to be a lesbian despite what you think you want. ze said ze's "in a man's body" with no reference to gender other than identifying as lesbian, so ze's probab...

I'm a phd student (which I know might not technically be seen as a job but it feels like one with the regular hours and the stipend I get paid, also you can possibly go from that into a postdoc job and maybe even into actual academia). You need a degree for it and it might not be for everyone, but ...

I'd been planning on going to the University of California for graduate school in 2011, but after seeing what's gonna happen in 2012, I think I'd be much better off on the east coast.

You should try to work on speeding up your metabolism as that makes it easier to lose weight. Drink green tea, coffee and try eating very small but frequent meals. For example, instead of 3 big ones try 5 small ones. Also vegetables and fruits like broccoli or pineapples are good if you want to los...

This is normal for aspies, and should not come as a shock to anyone on this forum. From the early years of high school to a few months ago, I was miserable with who I w...

I am a gay aspie--a minority within a minority. It's sort of discouraging for me to feel alienated from the general community--with all the NTs, and the LGBT community. Naturally my having Asperger's makes me socially awkward in a sense that people from both communities won't have much to do with m...
