I think it can be used as a cop out and excuse to knowingly treat people unfair, which is what majorities tend to do to minorities quite a bit. You could easily flat out treat someone unfairly and claim "life is unfair, get over it". Life is unfair largely because people make it so. Yet you could a...

It seems like whenever I’m on other websites, every once in awhile, some troll will make up having AS as an excuse for their behavior. how exactly does this transpire? does the troll say "i'm sorry i offended you; i can't help it - i have AS"? if someone had this kind of self-awareness, couldn't th...

Most people here are saying otherwise about that saying and I don't plan on breaking that trend. I suspect that the reason people mention this is because it's the last time in your life where you're not worried about adult things like raising a family, paying the bills, working rough full time jobs,...

Well, orry for the double post, id do it less if a multi-quiote option ever gets implemented (yes, I dont like having to do it the long way, I have a hard time remembering how to do it anyways) Im just gonna add in that mocking/making fun of the trolls can provide plenty of entertainment. they usua...

I would like to use fancy wordplay here and explain how I'm not judgmental despite acting that way, so I'll just go ahead and say yes. It may be a part of my dark side, but I find it easier more and more these days compared to years ago to remember someone a lot more for one bad thing than many good...

I don't.

Even when I'm alone and not online in some way, I always feel that AS is there in some form mostly because of the way I think.

Nope, never, and that applies to all kinds of issues. If you look hard enough, you can still find examples with almost anything, like race. There are a few exceptions, like the minority in power having control over the majority not in power.

No doubt there are trolls who really do have Asperger's and still use it as an excuse for their behavior, but I suspect that most trolls who claim to have it only do it just to put AS down because they know the other members in a community will eat that right up. However, I can't prove for sure that...

For me, the question would be when did I ever started? When I was younger before people knew I had AS, I was just being myself. During my school years, I don't remember ever trying to fit in because however I acted, people knew I was different from them. That's not to say I never acted to get furthe...

It seems like whenever I’m on other websites, every once in awhile, some troll will make up having AS as an excuse for their behavior. This spreads negative stereotypes about Aspies because often people think the troll is telling the truth and often they first hear about Asperger’s this way. Thus, e...

Do people even realize what a troll tends to do? Get people fired up and that's exactly what's happening here. If that happens, the troll has already "won", even if they get warned or banned. Are you in control of your actions or does the troll control you? There tends to be a reason the saying "don...

NTs are just weird and delusional.

You know, it would help not to make such board statements and generalizations like that since it leads to more negative stereotypes about Aspies thinking their superior to NTs.

People will sue over anything won't they? This just reinforces that. What case will she have anyway? She made the choice to eat popcorn every single day for sixteen years in a row and now she wants to blame popcorn because of that? It's like the people that try to sue fast food because they eat it t...

Hell no! I could make a really long rant about this, but to cut it short, it got so bad that I dropped out and gone for a GED. I even had nightmares for years that I would be in some sort of high school setting. That had to be one of the worst phases in my life thus far.

So based on what I learned from this topic... - Only males have AS. There is no such thing as females with AS. - Genes with Aspie traits are damaged genes. Therefore we should filter out Aspie genes. - A woman wouldn't disrespect herself to pass on genes with an Aspie. - Most women think most Aspies...
