Hi Everyone, I am the manager and developer of a Facebook-based role-playing game. It is a murder mystery format and there is a prize for the winner. The current game begins on Ocotber 20, but all applications to play must be returned by the 17th. As of this writing we still have five openings for p...

I hate when they start conversation just because they think I'm alone and sad and that I would really appreciate the company and conversation.

I don't.

We commonly tend to prefer the company of adults and we are also sometimes very precocious, so adults often love us. I know that was the case with me, but it would all depend, I suppose. on how we behaved. Aspies with a lot lof acting out and meltdowns might not be as popular.

What annoyed me about Adam is that the producers seemed to try to throw every possible Aspergian trait into one character, even if they were mutually incompatible and despite that fact that most of us don't them all. So the result was that in some areas he seemed highly intelligent, wise, and even w...

Well, this is one place, but a lot of Wrong Planet members aren't willing to chat outside of this site, so if you have a Facebook account, you can also try looking up some of the many autism-oriented groups there. I belong to a few myself.

Thanks for the link. I wonder if AS is now being over Dx'd in many adults.....with all respects, I do think that AS has become a catch-phrase, even trendy, amongst some self-diagnosed adults who maybe did not experience signs/symptoms as children. I am skeptical of certain adults who may be experie...

and i suppose you already know abt the dangers of aluminium cooking pots/ alzheimers etc .... i wonder what they use in school canteens ... I don't want to get off the original topic, but there is actually no proof of a connection between Alzheimer's and aluminum. The research isn't conclusive. Ver...

i don't think i have met very many adults who felt like they were totally grown up on the inside - many people retain some aspects of the inner child. it would be interesting to take a survey with NTs, as i think it is a fairly widespread phenomenon. This. A little while ago, I went around asking a...

I've discussed on similar thread a few months ago how I am 49 years old, a college graduate, and I have a high-responsibility job, but I feel like I'm just playing grown-up. It feels to me like at some point it's going to end, mercifully, and someone will rush in to take care of my life for me beca...

Many autistics have odd prosody. I have been told by a few people that I sound like I have a British RP accent, but when I listen to recordings of myself, I think I have a mechanical/robot voice.
