I usually re-read all things I post upwards of ten times to make sure I've said what I meant to, but it's still a little hit or miss. When I misread a situation and make a comment that causes offense, especially with people I only know online, my first impulse is to cut and run. So is my second. And my third. I have deleted user accounts I've had for years because of a single, off-hand remark. I know that after a horrible misunder... |

I'm the same way. I'm about 95% good with it, but I do wish I had one or two people who I could talk to without feeling like a freak...and I think I'm finding that here. |

Most people aren't on my radar. There are a few people I care about, but the truth is if I didn't see them for a little while I can easily lose that feeling. On the bright side, though, I rarely expend the energy it takes to hate someone! |

I almost always distrust anyone who is friendly for no apparent reason. It's not on purpose, but it always makes me think they're up to something. |

My mother is 100% NT and does this constantly. Or if I dislike something and she likes it, she has to explain to me that she likes it. It gets old. |

If it were me, I would tell my parents the absolute truth. I would explain that they must trust me to live my life, and to trust what they have taught me to be right. It all comes down to whether or not they trust you, not whether they like your boyfriend. Of course, I only lie for fun. "Tell the tr... |

I have been light sensitive for as long as I can remember. My parents used to gripe because they'd come home from work and I'd have the curtains all closed and lights on! This past fall there was a solid month in which it did nothing but rain in my area (a rarity) and as everyone around me became in... |

There's a reason they called him the bard.... |

Totally true. Love yourself first, then other people will start to see how awesome you are. |

This is a problem for me, too. When you work with people, or interact with people regularly, that means dealing with their problems to some degree. The problem is that most people automatically think to say the right thing, and I have to cue myself to say something other than, "Oh. So you can't work... |
