If it's so interesting as you probably think, you can always go ahead and open a thread about it, in the right section, or something. I'm not a kind of guy myself, who waits for others to start talking about something, and you probably shouldn't be too. It's a joke (name of this forum is Random?) i... |

That thing they found at the bottom of the lake. Specify, please? Look at the description of the News And Current Events section on the Forums title page. Really? That is what this thread is all about? https://i.somethingawful.com/forumsystem/emoticons/emot-ughh.gif Why do I waste my time? :l... |

My entire point is that it's all gray areas. The people who are splitting hairs are those who can't seem to accept that. I don't get it. What on earth is the big deal? Call yourself whatever you want. It doesn't bother me, and it most likely won't bother your doctor either. I don't think almost any... |

Experience is the better term. Not age. The more you are exposed to stuff you aren't good at, the better you will get at it. I don't believe it's that any symptoms get better, just that you get better at dealing with them and overcoming them. On the other hand, something else can happen as you get o... |

First: There was a series of puzzle I had to do. I think I was being timed or something to see how long I would do them for. That's executive function. How quick is your brain kind of thing. Secondly: I was asked a few very odd questions. Can’t remember the actual questions but the only way I can d... |

People with autism are supposed to have difficulty with “executive function.” In basic terms, “executive function” means “organization.” True, but difficulty with executive functioning (organizing) doesn't necessarily mean one is not organized. True OCD'ers can be overly organized to the point of i... |

What about looking at mental conditions at-large as nuts? Then you would end up relating Asperger to schizophrenia and bipolar, but you wouldn't like that one would you. You are aware that Aspeger's Syndrome was eventually defined because research was being done in what used to be called "Schi... |

This argument got old many years ago.
Pecans are not walnuts but they are still nuts.
Nuts = Autism therefore Aspies are nuts.
End of lesson. |

Thanks for the no-nonsense feedback that gets right to the point. I had wondered about the "wall of text" thing myself but the message is so important. I already feel like I'm using as few words as possible so I guess I have lots of work to do.Changing the homepage so the pending release ... |

I used to look at the ground while walking because of light sensitivity. Since I discovered a thing called sensory processing disorder, I started wearing sunglasses outside at all times. Now that my eyes don't hurt to look up, I scan the horizon much more than the ground. Wait what? I'm afraid to a... |

Is there a correlation between Autism and Sugar craving? No. Agreed. No. There isn't but... It's something you're going to want to get a handle on fast because whether he is autistic or not, addictive behaviors could be something he's prone to. It sounds like he already is. My eldest was, and still... |

Why does anyone care? Don't know who he is and don't care. It's his life, and between him and his doctors and or therapists. Whether or not he is is none of mine or anyone else's business. He can say what he likes just like anyone else undiagnosed here. |
