I like where you're thinking from :D that would be really, really interesting. I've not heard of anything like that though, sorry :? Wonder twin powers activate. Yeah I'm wondering if there are any, pairing/compensatory learning studies. My partner and I both have AS traits but we are lucky e...

Is there a current expert/ study/ film that anyone can recommend. I'm looking for any work related to autistic Social dynamic, studies possibly focus on how autistics react/interact to one another. especially in a controlled environment. Not studies of how they react to A-typical, just how they reac...

"That would certainly be kinder than beating a live horse, who can still feel pain." I don't honestly know if you are attempting humor, if you are quoting the marx brothers, or if you are making a logical observation. either way, that was HILARIOUS, you should use that joke more. And, I'm stealing i...

I have been delving into the nature of existence and my fascination with both dimensional physics and psychoanalysis and sustainable living are crossing paths on too many levels to not freak me out a little. I'm not sure what you mean by dimensional physics, "sustainable" living merely delays the i...

You don't sound like an A hole, more like a thinker. I'm really tired, and have to go to bed now, or I'd probably talk all night to you, but I'll check in here tomorrow to see where you're up to, and hopefully have some more stuff to chat to you about. Goodnight! I just recently met someone who is ...

I also think that we as a species are HIGHLY susceptible to environmental adaptive changes. we have developed quite rapidly compared to other species, it is our adaptability that has ensured our survival up to this point. So is AS an adaptation, and not a disorder? Whew.... :? Hi Arachne, I agree w...

Ok let me ask it this way, Something causes AS, I'm assuming it has to be one of two things, environmental, or genetic mutation. Or a complex interaction of the two. isn't that a form of evolution? Well, in some sense yes, but in that same sense, Downs Syndrome could be described the same way. our ...

we are not timelords I wasn't saying that we were, I was suggesting the possibility that through the process of evolution or selective breeding we could be, How many Aspies do you think are working on the large HC project? I know my ideas a little fanciful, but is it sound logic? Here to learn

I also just realized I'm not even factoring in the possibility of Eugenics as it;s own "social" construct affecting our "evolution".

That was a "Dune" moment boys and girls...

I really get the feeling that this is another projection of traits onto AS. Not something that AS naturally has. I should have known better than to get in the pool with the big boys. Ok let me ask it this way, Something causes AS, I'm assuming it has to be one of two things, environmental, or genet...

<snip> I find either that the intentionality in your expression either distorts your idea very heavily, or your idea actually does involve intentions and you just said it didn't because Orwell called you out on it. Could you rephrase your ideas so that way there is no confusion. Survival of the fit...

It is my personal belief that we as autistics are the next evolutionary step in human development, That's really not how evolution works. but I do think I might be on to something You are not. Trust me on that. to put it bluntly, Mother nature has a way of fixing herself, we as a species have upset...

This is my first post so I hope I don't trip over myself. I am currently in a thought loop about fact that we may be aliens, or at least the next logical evolutionary step for mankind.. I know a little heavy. I'm going to throw my theory out there and see what sticks! It is my personal belief that w...
