I suppose it's just a plot-hole; unless there were plans to bring Ryan back later in the story that they abandoned and then either didn't have time to or simply forgot to fix the plot-hole. Can't say I'm that excited for Bioshock Infinite though, it just looks like a prettier, more streamlined rehas... |

If you like Bioshock, you should read the book it is based on (or rather the book it shamelessly rips off, seeing as no reference was made in the credits or royalties paid). The book is 'Atlas Shrugged' by Ayn Rand and Bioshock is basically that book as a game; it's why that character is named Atlas... |

Never bought a Kinect as they are really expensive, there aren't any good mature games and if you don't have a pretty big room for it, apparently there can be issues. But watching the trailers for 'Child of Eden' on 360 make the Kinect sensor look amazing. So my question is; would you buy a Kinect j... |

I know, the more I think about it, the more I think I may have accept moving abroad if I am to expect any kind of future. Although I do often think that some of the people on WrongPlanet have much more real world capability than I do. I can't imagine ever having any job other than a low level grunt,... |

I appreciate your advice, but as for additional education, I went through the educational system once and seeing as I have an MSc, I don't really see the point in more study and I'm not sure I could face it anyway. As for volunteer work, with science you have to be insured, go through in house train... |

Hey, I have diagnosed AS and a Masters degree in Biotechnology and I have been looking for work in one sense or another now for almost three years and am pushing 27. It was easier to endure this as some of the (very few) other people I know were either still in college or looking for work too. But y... |

I did try to go back to the UK earlier this year but the job situation was dire. That's what I've been trying to discern from the internet, what the job opportunities for a young science graduate with little experience would be. I do fear that I would go and there would be as little work for someon... |

If you have any allies in your field who would help out, try to use them. Perhaps you could start over and do another internship--and not be afraid to let people know that you are AS and to cut you some slack in the small talk department. Are there any aspies here (or elsewhere) in your field that ... |

I've always had similar experiences and totally agree with Todesking's first post. There is no real way around this problem, it is just how humans are. But if you want to better understand the actions and thought processes of our sister species (their Romulans to our Vulcans) I recommend reading Ric... |

I don't mean to be cynical and I appreciate your advice, but don't you think your advice largely ignores the reality of someone with AS? Your advice would be perfect for someone who was an everyday person, but for someone with AS surely you appreciate that paperwork is the least of our worries? Also... |

Hello, I actually joined Wrong Planet a while ago but haven't been very active as a poster but I really felt like posting something today. I wanted to ask the community a question about their experiences or opinions on a particular topic; namely emigration. Note this will be a long story, but I want... |

...looks good (I'm actually currently playing KOTOR on 360, game is great, emulation isn't great at times though), but I use an iMac not a Windows PC and so I'll probably have to wait until it comes to for Mac (if it does). I was a little disappointed by KINECT, I thought it looked like a less funct... |
