Hi! Just wanted to share some sketches. The first is a desert nomad type character inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune and the second is a creature that looks a little too Oddworld-ish. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a313/PerinGalitte/2.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a313/PerinGalitte/4.jpg

It's hard to say, isn't it? I mean. I would say no but you never quite know what you'd give up or for whom.

Regardless, I just came back from a dinner full of grilled chicken. And it was YUM.

It's interesting to me that so many find the word offensive, because I don't even look at it that way. I've been called a freak several times in my life (twice by my own family) and I almost think of 'freak' as synonymous with 'friend.' At any rate, I'm going to have to let this spoiled, insensitiv...

Welcome, Crow. You are indeed human! We are, in my opinion atleast, just a different breed. Although it gets increasingly difficult to believe so, at times.

As for those 3D films, I'm hesitant to call them rad but I'll agree to their dreadfulness.

I didn't have a gift for manipulation or persuasion, but I have always had a strong knack for explaining my views and presenting things with clarity. Then again, as an aspie (specifically whom, I can't remember) on this forum once said: You are not a paragon of rationality. But really, that applies ...

I'm guilty too. I just don't seem to be interested, or have an understanding of other people's interests. Especially tonight after meeting up with old 'friends.' But I don't think the issue is concentration, not completely anyway. At times I get the feeling I just don't connect because I'm behind in...

As to implementations you can do yourself, my best advice is to start scheduling "pleasant events" for yourself and making yourself go to them. This CBT therapy is used by psychologists to treat patients with depression alongside drugs. Basically, think of things you enjoy doing (or if you don't fe...

She doesn't have AS. She goes "against the grain" because it does positive things for her career. It adds to her image.

That's true, but it doesn't make me feel less depressed. The point is that at your age it's very unlikely you're truly clinically depressed. You could be. But chances are you're choosing to mope around and whine instead of picking yourself up. You will not "feel any better" without a huge amount of...

It's entirely possible you have depression. But don't assume I'm being condescending or patronizing when you read this, because I know where you're coming from. The way I see it, the more you go through now, the earlier of a start you get to have on others in being a good, innately strong, happy per...

You can have a few symptoms to higher degrees and still qualify for a diagnosis. But its a combination of multiple symptoms. For example, being social inept doesn't mean anything on it's own. Perhaps think about what you want out of this diagnosis. When I received mine it was liberating, but after s...
