Thanks for the advice guys. You seem very level headed scubasteve. There's no one I like at the moment, though I know a few good people who happen to also be very attractive girls. But I don't really feel that sense of relating/connecting I need to properly "like" someone with 99% of people I met da...

I love words. I like so many, mainly going on the sound and look of them more than meaning. Monolith is one. (I also have irrational dislikes of certain other words on the same aesthetic criteria. Including "aspie" which sounds like someone choking to me.. haha)

Same question.

Yes, I can be. Though such spells of warmth tend to burn brief and bright and wear me out. I need to need to build up momentum and almost.. a rhythm in social interaction and people who've met me when I've been on good form would probably not assume there was anything atypical about me at all. Indee...

I have both aspergers syndrome and dyspraxia and apparently it's not uncommon for these conditions to co-exist in an individual. Indeed a lot of people with aspergers have physical coordination difficulties anyway. What seems curious though is how dyspraxia and autism seem to contradict each other. ...

Sadly the answer to that one is generally "nothing". I tend to freeze.

What's your favourite item of clothing that you own?

Good to see another Scott Walker fan. Impressive as Scott 4 was, I'm even more into his later stuff like Tilt and The Drift than his 60s output. I think I like both about equally but I've never heard anything that sounds like his later more avant garde work before or since. He deserves that over us...

Is your username a Scott Walker reference? Is it! A lyric from Bolivia 95 on Tilt. Scott is one of my favourite artists. I've been using this as my username all over the internet for a number of years and I'm always really happy when people "get" the reference. I've got use to being called LBC by p...

.. intellectually knowing you aren't prepared/ready for it or that it just isn't a realistic prospect for you. At least at the moment. My intended title was much too long for the little box... Does anyone know else find themselves in this position or know ways to cope with it? To give you the backgr...

thank you! I've read a lot of your posts. I like the sixties too. Especially the music.

We didn't have much in so I want to the local supermarket and bought a pasta pot and some breakfast bars.

Who's your favourite fictional character, and why?

I liked series 4 in general but the Freddie storyline being refered to here (I'll be vague to avoid spoilers) almost ruined it for me. Really melodramatic and silly, didn't fit with the mood of the show to me. Would have suited a soap like Eastenders better than a comedy drama like Skins. That said ...

Hello there, I'm a long time "lurker" here on WP, and I've finally decided to join in myself.. My name's Joshua and I'm a 25 year old boy from Bradford in West Yorkshire. I was diagnosed with aspergers in April of this year. I've always felt somewhat innately different or alien to other people and I...
