This isn't just unethical, it's child abuse if the boy is under 18, and abuse of the disabled if over, both of which are felonies! The local district attorney should be informed. Anybody know the jurisdiction?

I STILL can't talk when I'm angry and I'm old enough to have a 20 year old son! I wish I could tell you it would get easier as you get older, but I can't. I'm sorry. Most people (the nice ones) will understand if you can say, in a semi-calm tone, "I'm very angry and need time to process. Let's talk ...

I was the skinniest kid in my elementary school. My mother would beg me to eat but I was extremely picky. That changed when adolescence hit and I started to eat for comfort. Eventually, I got fat. I've been fat for a long time, now, despite multiple diets that let me lose some weight for a short tim...

I really like the results of traveling, but I stress out getting ready to leave. I usually need at least a day to recover from the stress of prepping and traveling before I do anything in the new place. I need the same recovery time when I return home. I do not enjoy driving long distances and elbow...

You had an acquaintance who used you and who abused the trust of everyone around her. She was a b***h; you might have discovered this earlier if you were NT, but don't beat yourself up - she was the monster, not you. I had one for a long time, too - and GOOD RIDDANCE!! !! Find new friends - go to a ...

When out with my girlfriends, I mostly chat about work, friends, kids, and the challenges of home-ownership (not that I have all that many female friends). I approach shopping as a challenge - either I'm up for the hunt (in which case I probably need a partner or two to help me chase down camouflage...

Good question. I'm struggling with the decision, myself. I know I'll be on the spectrum if I get tested. It takes a psychologist or psychiatrist who is skilled in diagnosing AS adults. Otherwise, it's a waste of time and money. I know of such a person where I live. My main reason for seeking a diagn...

Since I read compulsively, I often read so-called women's magazines but I use them academically. These magazines help me to understand what the publishing industry wants American women to be interested in - not that it works on me, but I'm curious about what I'm supposed to be interested in. I also ...

Trust me; it's different when it's your own kid (or at least, it's supposed to be if the hormones are working properly). Although I babysat extensively as a teenager, I sometimes had to restrain myself from strangling the little monsters! But after I had my own, I found myself cooing and babbling at...
