Yeah.. so, any opinions? Would it be possible to use this sort of straightforwardness, or would it just freak out the girl?

My point is, why try to play a game that I'm inherently bad at?

My old cat is very orderly.. she never does anything inappropriate.. once, when I forgot to let her out, and she had no sandbox at the moment, she peed in the sink. How considerate of her not to do it on the floor, or the furniture. :P

She doesn't eat everything however. She is quite picky.

Hi, I'm a 21-year-old swedish guy (not blonde! ;) ). I've been posting a bit here on WP, but I haven't been diagnosed with AS quite yet. I have severe OCD, and my shrink is evaluating me for AS soon, because he suspects I have it, or at least some traits of AS. Anyway, even though I don't know if I ...

I agree men have it easier a lot of the time. But not always. As a male you are expected to make the move, be agressive and out-going. If you're a male who's not, well..

Igorstop - Fascinating. That thing about not being "reducible to any of the preceeding stages" was most interesting. This would mean that the "uber-computer" would fail since it cannot compute all factors, since the number of factors are, in effect, endless.

As Awesomelyglorius said, meaning is something that people search when in a bad spot. People who have all they ever wished for don't stop and think "wait, why am I doing this?" This is a generalization, and may not be true for all humans. From a logical viewpoint I must say that there is no ultimate...

A persons level of expertize can't be decided by her knowledge of terms like 'aspie' and 'neurotypical'. Maybe lots of people she has spoken to use those words, what do you know?

My point is, judging her by that seems a bit strange. Give her a chance.

I'm not really affected by Valentine's Day. All these stupid holidays sort of "pass by" without me noticing.. so, in short, I am entirely neutral to it.

the uber-computer would, of course, have already realised you'd try to deviate from your predetermined path, so would have told you to do the opposite of what you ought to have done. a bit like you do with naughty children  you might try and be clever and follow some of what it says, but it's ...

Yeah, a link would be great! Welcome Reflection, I'm an Aspie Christian too! :) Sounds like a great idea, even if it's just a thread that we keep going. I sometimes feel like a bit of a minority when a lot of Aspies are logical thinkers and don't see any logic in religion! Logic is the domain of ph...

I'd like to bring up a thread about determinism. Is the universe, including the life within it, determined? To those who haven't read about this subject before, I will try to explain the basic problem here: Philosophers have long discussed the matter of free choice. One thesis [determinism] says tha...

Inspired by the thread "Things that annoy you", I thought it might be good with this thread to counter all the negativity. Write as much or as little as you want. I could only think of 8 things right now: 1. Feeling that I have developed in an area that matters to me. 2. Feeling free. 3. Read...

Uncle Toms of any variety annoy me. I'm sorry, what's an Uncle Tom? Except an actual uncle named Tom, of course. :? My list: 1. Feeling forced to do something (ie the feeling of having no choice). 2. When something stands between me and my interest. 3. False people. 4. Social situations which don't...
