Not such a great attitude. You can do a lot with your life, I have found. Thinking less of yourself is self-defeating.

My house is actually quite small (about 800sq. feet), and I do not mind it. It is easy to clean, and I know where everything is. But it is all on one level. I wish I had an upstairs to go to sometimes, like I did in the house I grew up in.

I have found that as I get older and friends go by the way, that I get much more lonely. Most of my social connections are online, which hardly replaces the void of real social interaction.

I do feel lonely much of the time. I care much less now that I am older, but I still feel a need to connect with others and always probably will.

I find that I am very sensitive to alcohol. It makes for a relatively cheap buzz. A few beers or glasses of sherry, and I get tipsy. I have noticed as I get older, that the after effects of drinking are getting much more negative. A problem I did not have in my youth. As a result, I have largely swo...

I got an average score, which is not realistic. I have a very hard time reading people and making friends, as well as interpreting the motivations of others.

It is something that comes with age. You begin to see that not all people are created equal, or think the way you do. They simply do not want your friendship. So learn to leave it alone. I rarely open up to people anymore, even if I think I would get along with them. Be courteous and respect their s...

It is a bad habit that I have made a conscious decision to alter with some success. People do not like to be stared at, as I have discovered. I still sometimes stare, but always try to correct it if I can.

I have been alone so long, I would not know or comprehend what it is like to live any other way.

I had a very bad reaction to prozac ( aggression, suicidal ideation) and a host of other negative side effects when I was taking the medication. These side effects went away when I got off the drug. It did work for my severe depression at the time, however.

I was into bodybuilding for quite a number of years. It made me less skinny, even after I quit. Now, I am satisfied with how I look. I still try to keep my body in shape with hiking, cycling and swimming.

I seriously doubt that it is a Nordic affliction, although I myself am of Nordic origin. I would say that a certain percentage of any culture has AS individuals in them.

Probably not. My writing style is quite sloppy and somewhat illegible, but there are probably aspies with perfectly fine writing. It may have more to do with hand/eye coordination. I just dont know.

You either have AS, or you do not. There really is no such thing as "mild " AS. It is a developmental disorder, so your brain is different. If it is not than you are simply a normal person.
