I know that the auto-correct on mobile phones is notoriously "fun", but how on earth does "y-e-s" get auto-corrected to "t-r-a-p"?

99% of the guys who message me merely found me on the scrapings from the bottom of the barrel ('cause I can usually see the distinct lack of compatibility just from one single glance at their profile). Tell me why I should be flattered to hear from them. It's got nothing to do with being flattered,...

Last week I sent a message to someone that, according to the checkboxes, was physically exactly what I am interested in. Equally, I met all of her criteria. Her actual profile, however, said nothing about her or what she was looking for, beyond the fact that she was "bored and shy" and was looking f...

Funny you should mention this. I am a 36 yr-old male reading WrongPlanet. I am a member of a couple of dating sites and I have never indicated any interest in dating married women. Why the hell do I continually get ad's on Wrong Planet for "Over 50s Dating" and "Married Dating" or "Affair Finder" si...

Coldest summer in nearly 50 years in Sydney. We had only 3 days above 30C all summer. Normally we'd have around 30 days above 30C and maybe 2-3 days above 40C. We had the wettest February (or are heading for the wettest March, forget which) since the 1880s as well.

100-140mm of rain all across Sydney today. That's around 4-5 inches for you people clinging to the ancient system. I live four houses away from a bus stop and there was almost an inch of water just sitting on the grass on those lawns because the soil can't take any more water. And those lawns slope ...

You've got your knickers in a knot over circumscision, fair enough. But you're completely missing the fact that it's alright for a rabbi to suck on a baby's penis, so long as he has just circumscised him.

The cause of death was listed as “disseminated herpes simplex virus Type 1, complicating ritual circumcision with oral suction.” I'm sorry, but is nobody else a little concerned by this quote? It sounds a little... wrong. Actually, it sounds a lot wrong. Very wrong. Also, circumscision has been sho...

Coloured text or underlines are standard for hyperlinks. They have been for nearly 20 years. They are done that way specifically so that people know they are there. Before accusing me of being "abrasive", how about asking yourself why I made the comment in the first place? Why does this forum not au...

Maybe if there was an indication - any indication at all - that there was a link in your post I might have clicked it.

Where did this rubbish about EMPs come from? An EMP is a secondary effect of a nuclear blast and non-nuclear EMPs are not exactly something you can put together in your garden shed. Anonymous have access to a weapon more advanced than a nuclear warhead? There are a lot of words that could be used to...

No, I'd have to Google it. MAD was first proposed in the 1970s (I think) and describes the state of relations between two parties armed with nuclear weapons. Both sides take the diplomatic high-ground and say "we will not be the first to launch nukes, but if you fire even one at us we will turn you...
