i think it would be something like bf skinner's utopia, if only because things would be done for rational reasons & not tribal reasons. in walden two, if i remember correctly, everyone has to put in a little time at the work nobody wants to do; & the rest of the time they do what they want. ... |

amazon's offshoot "createspace" (now "kindle direct publishing" or kdp-amazon) has made it easier to self-publish than at any time in history. you only need a pdf of the right dimensions to upload.
the hard part now is getting anyone to review it. |

(--not sure if the APA itself is a lot more wholesome than Herr Asperger but... :) ) A Ghost Planet is when scientists at first think they've discovered a new planet but then later investigation proves it doesn't exist. A Ghost Planet typically only exists for a few years, but in the meantime people... |

well, i suppose there's people who are better at spotting it & people who are worse; nor do i think there is only one "trace" (it's a gestalt)--but what i wanted was a WORD. |

...than "autdar" (on the model of "gaydar"), which is ingenious but hardly suggests what it means, at first glance: the innate ability of autistic people to spot other autistic people...
it's also terrible-sounding (to me, anyway). any ideas?
