I would like to see it. These things make me get down, though. I am glad this guy is reaching his full potential. It just reminds me of when I was young and all the things that could have been. Now I am older and I have, instead of well exercised interests and studies showing my stengths, unresovled...

This is an easy question to answer. I can't keep a job or steady friendship going for more than a year and a half. At work, I eventually become hyper aware of how awful people are to each other: the web of lies that is spun under the guise of politeness. Eventually, it is overwhelming and I can't f...

I have been having problems sleeping for the last three or four weeks. I go to bed quite late in order to make myself sleep, if I go too early then I get even less sleep. Anyway, I normally just lie there and cannot sleep for an hour or so, I then get to sleep. Sometimes I go off sleep walking which...

I really hear what you are saying. I had pretty much the same deal with my mum. For the whole of my teens she really didn't seem to care as she had her own things to be getting on with and I was now starting to become an adult, like my brother before me had. I didn't get my diagnosis until I was 29 ...

The Diagnostic Manual is written to assist in diagnosing AS in children . Hans Asperger first noticed it in children and unfortunately, it has been treated as though it were a childhood ailment ever since. In fact, a great many people still assume that you outgrow it as you become an adult, which i...

I made the self declaration that I would not look to live with anyone ever again about 4 years ago and it was probably the best realisation I had made. I kept it to myself however though because if I had declared it infront of friends or family they would have thought I was a snob or above other peo...

We are human too. I have seen many many many many many many many many people who are quite comfortable to demonstrate, in public, the best ways to ruin a child. I have seen people treat dogs that have gone to the toilet on the carpet better. It all comes down to understanding that if your surroundin...

From my perspective or my parents? I would say from my perspective signs were there from seven or eight years old. It was a different world and time back then though. I got the diagnosis a year ago. It was a fun time until then.
