I'm so glad some other people seem to know what I'm talking about (can't say I'm glad any of us experience it, lol). I truly don't think it has anything to do with a seizure in my case, but I'm going to have the try temple stimulation . . . when it happens, I'm probably willing to try anything. |

it feels like a sickening restlessness (i call it the sh**-or-go-blind sensation). That would certainly seem to describe it. I've never really been medicated, however, and after reading about akathisia, I don't think that's what I'm experiencing. Pretty sure they're not seizures, either, but since ... |

Hmmm . . . I don't think so. It comes on suddenly and unexpectedly, but I don't recall experiencing anything I'd describe as a jolt.
EDIT: Do you mean like a sort of adrenaline jolt in your heart? In that case, maybe. Not always, though. |

I sort of hate to ask this, because it's nearly impossible to articulate. But I'll try: Ever since I was a child, I will, seemingly at random times, be overcome by an intensely disgusting (not disgusted--DISGUSTING) sensation. I believe it's primarily a mentally perceived feeling, but if I had to pu... |

My mother was practically my best friend throughout my childhood (even if she had HORRIBLE ways of dealing with me and my brother, like making faces intended to frighten me when I was little and she was angry at me, knowing how easily and intensely frightened I became). In the last few years, howeve... |

Tampons for me, with the nice little plastic applicators (tried some cardboard-applicator cheapies once, and it was like trying to impale myself on a telephone pole). I wore nothing but pads till around a year ago, actually (I'm 23 in a few days), because I would almost faint whenever I tried to ins... |

The first and only time in my life I ever tried to ask a guy out was in the third grade. I developed this crush on him because he seemed somewhat more decent (albeit in a young boy way) than other, more aggressively mean guys in my class. We had shared a pop once while sitting at the same desk watch... |

I had problems with my weight from around third/fourth grade all the way up through high school and my first couple years at college. Now I've lost over 40 pounds, and I'm my ideal weight (fluctuating around 115-118 depending on certain factors). I can't say its improved my relationship with or trus... |

This is going to be a long one. I never heard of Aspergers when I was growing up. Probably only heard about it a few years ago, actually. And even then, I read very scant information about it, and I somehow got the idea it was a very extreme sort of syndrome. You’d know if you had it; you’d probably... |
