| Welcome!! I have an almost 11 year old with AS. I can relate to the teen/tween behavior! Your community must have some support groups. Do you have a children's hospital? If so I'd call the mental health and neurology departments and ask what resources they know of. Good luck, and welcome! |

| Hi eowyn! I can only speak as the mother of an 11 year old aspie and the wife of a man who's not yet been test, but is very likely aspie. Getting my son's diagnosis helped us understand him..and in what I read and learned I began to understand my husband as well. I express affection in ways he can't... |

| Technically if you have ADHD you're not NT. NT is the absence of an Autism Spectrum Disorder. That was the understanding I had as well.
