NTs don't have to consciously learn most social skills. To them, socializing is like breathing.

[snip] Discuss. Not at all surprise. Students loans were discoverable in bankruptcy. When I went to school, the law said if you were in repayment for 7 years in good faith, your student loan debt was treated like any other unsecured debt. Now they can only be discharged if they pose an "undue hards...

If they can't handle stimming, too bad. NTs seem like such babies. They get easily nervous and can't handle eccentricities. Many NTs will dislike us either way so why should we particularly care how they feel? I'll be myself and if other people don't like it, I don't care. I live for myself and not ...

I don't try to mask my awkwardness because I hate talking to other people. I sometimes act as awkward and distant as possible just to avoid conversations. I'm very asocial when it comes to most people.

What can be done? Harsher punishment! I believe in behaviorism in that behaviors can be modified with a series of punishments and rewards. Bring back paddling in the schools and the kids will stay in line. People like that don't listen to reason. Only punishment will keep them from doing the wrong ...

I fought back at bullies in school because

A) They deserved it
B) Even if I did get in trouble, suspension was like a reward to me. I never looked at it as a punishment to go home and play video games.

It causes a lot of exhaustion for me. That's why I specially schedule my classes so that I don't spend most of my week in a classroom and I can't work full time. Even working part time is tiring; I could never work back to back days at my last job (dept store, womens area). If I was scheduled too m...

As a child, I hardly felt lonely. I hated being with others most of the time and preferred to keep to myself. I played video games and read books for hours on end in my room. Being alone only bothered me when I was bored. I just needed something to stimulate my mind. Most of the time I don't feel th...

When you report it, remember to CRY CRY CRY. This will give people sympathy for you and take it away from the bully. A good way to get back at subtle bullying in school is to pinch them HARD when they try to harass you. If you make the right move, it looks innocuous and you can always say you were ...

A lot of this doesn't work for girls. Girls don't physically bulk up like guys do, and if we do it doesn't mean the same thing socially. Plus, girls get a lot more relational aggression rather than physical, which can be as bad or worse depending on the situation, and is harder to defend against. F...

Bullies suck. They should be severely beaten. Maybe then they'd know how it feels. Unfortunately, teachers, administrators, and the whole system basically side with the bullies. They don't care. Social Darwinism? How can we say we're a civilized society when we let bullying happen every day at ever...

Teach your kids pressure points and other self defense techniques. If the bullying gets bad enough, take it up with the bully's parents and threaten to sue. If the bullying continues, get a good lawyer and sue the school district and the bully's parents.

Depends on who is passing judgment on you about it and how much it matters to you. Typically, in the USA 28 would be considered late. I ended back with my parents and am 41 now. It's probably a bit different as I look after them (somewhat; not all the time) now, which is seen as a redeeming feature...

We mature at a rate of 2/3 to 3/4 of the average NT. Say the age for an NT to move out is 21. The age we move out should be 28 to 31.5. Using the 18 standard, we should move out anywhere from 24 to 27.
