All too often, 2-3 in the morning comes along without me even realising because i've been pacing around or just lying in bed rolling over constantly, trying to fall asleep. Sometimes i do eventually drop off but other times i see the morning come and go and just start a new day without having slept....

I've reached just reached 19 and over the last year or so i've come to similiar conclusions but have decided not to get an official diagnosis. I can manage to hide my traits for the most part and can deal with 'fitting in' as such. There are benefits to being official diagnosed, i won't repeat them ...

I'd link mine to vodka, it is intoxicating but it's clear, namely say that cause i'm normally good at not letting others see my anxiety even if i'm freaking out inside.

At the moment 9 for both but i have a scary suspicion that that will go majorly down hill if they find out about my AS. My brother now knows and has been very allowing for it but i have a feeling my parents would end up either desperatly over protective or very dismissive of it but both would qualif...

For most of my earlier life i was nicknamed hedge or hedgehog.

I'm an addict when it comes to rpg games.

I'm asexual.

I frequently go hill climbing to get away from crowds of people and enjoy the view.

I very often forget to eat and sleep because i get caught up in what i'm doing.

I tend to get anxious and stress out a lot in social situations, particularly larger groups. I was wondering how do most people here deal with anxiety and/or stress?

Unless you really need to i don't think it's worth it. I mean it can help you with getting support but if you don't need i would ask yourself why you would need it. I've known for a long time that i meet the criteria but i can also manage to cover it up very well so i'm not sure i'd want a diagnosis...

I can only offer my sympathies. Presentations cause me to have a major anxiety attack and literally fall to pieces in front of people. :( I did do it the last time i had to but i at least had a piece of paper i could read from, i doubt i could do it any other way and yes i did hide behind it

Thankfully i've never had to deal with this, my grades in school were always average (i could never focus on my school subjects most of the time and didn't get to do the subjects i wanted at a-level, so did just as bad then), i guess it also helps that i'm undiagnosed, i think my parents don't expec...

I think a few of my friends and some of my family accept the way i am but in all honesty i don't care what people think of me, i'm happy enough with who i am. Though i reckon a lot of that could change if i told them of the possibility i might have AS, hence why i haven't and probably never will tel...

I used to have aproblem with my anger as a kid but i've worked for ages to try and deal and control it, there was a site i found with some good advice for anger: http://www.tameyourbrain.com/anger.htm , some of the stuff on that site is marginally useless but this one i found very helpful. As for co...
