I have always been a fast walker as many here describe. And unfortunately one of my biggest aspie traits is the inability to communicate without exercising gruelling detail. Below is a synopsis of what I would want to contribute to this thread, otherwise it would be a book. I recall seeing something...

Lacking the emotional, existential and tangential mentality that the neurotypicals possess, being an aspergian is somewhat like being a machine that can only analyze circumstance based on comprehensive sets of fact based inter...

Welcome! I live about 80 miles north of LA, nice to see someone somewhat 'local' on WP. Two books I'd suggest, are both by Rudy Simone, one called "Aspergers on the Job" and the other "Aspergirls: Empowering Females With Asperger Syndrome" I am an Asperboy so haven't read the second one, but the fir...

My major issue with theists is not exactly their burden to carry. They are often victims, I am forgiving in the amount of accountability I prescribe. For me, the nutshell is that religion expects a mighty grand total of behaviour modifications that only 1/1000th of 1% can ever attain. If the expecta...

One of the biggest issues with the economy in the United States is the trade deficit. We import more than three times what we export. This means the money in our economy is steadily leaving our borders, exiting our economy. If we make a composite characterization of the 'pie' as 'finite' despite 'gr...

I tend to think as I believe Sand has described, that it is important to note the anticipation of some purpose to the universe, in it's whole, is purely a human one. I consider that as we are composed of atoms and energies, as is everything in the universe, we are a mechanism by which the universe m...

There are several components to the question that are important to consider before rendering any solid progress in the ideation of an opinion. On the one hand, you have a group of people that are stating in some way or another, that humans are doing a lot of unnatural things and those unnatural thin...

I immediately discredit the validity of the filth spewing from the mouths of those so unprofessional and disingenuous to call the health reform bill 'Obamacare'. Its just a filthy soundbite to establish continuity in the pea-brains of conservatives. If you don't keep repeating the same non-sense you...

It can be too little, or too late, but not both. Sure it could. If you needed 1kg flour by 12.00 and got 500g by 13.00, that'd be too little and too late. but doesn't the "and too late" implie that it would have been acceptable if it was delivered on time? The best way to describe this is the regre...

Back before I shaved my hair, I don't know if I can say whether I forgot to or didn't care to, but I would often not do anything to my hair (I am a guy). After one day at work one of my female co-workers said "you ought to use some moose or something" I became nearly obsessed with making sure my hai...

I like to think I am more capable of disdain rather than hatred. To me, hatred denotes that there is some occupation of resources internally, where I feel those resources could be better applied elsewhere. Hatred seems to be an active process, where disdain is implicit. I can extremely dislike somet...

My user ID is the common name for a classical spanish guitar piece that I enjoy playing. The originating author is unknown despite the fact that over time the piece has been attributed to several different composers, thus the Anonimo (Anonymous). To me, the name is symbolic because I consider myself...

If you feel you need medication I would suggest talking to your doctor to switch to a medication that does not have the negative sexual side effects. I am not a doctor, but it is my opinion that prescribing Risperidone for anxiety/irritability is a very irresponsible move by any doctor. Resperidone ...
