Again, thanks for all your kind and understanding words. It means a lot to me to know that there is people out there who understand how dfficult this kind of thing can be. While I wish nothing bad upon anybody, it still helped to read that some of you have gone through something similar and made it ... |

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. It feels good to read that somebody can emphasize with my current pain. I'm also sorry for those of you who went through something similar. Just writing about it here helped me to sort out my emotions. I have few people who I can really talk with and today I just... |

The memory was gone for a very long time. This morning it came back and it is painful. I still feel like crying even after I have done that for several hours already. Of course it doesn't help that my mother and me have had a (verbal) fight about ten days ago and haven't talked with each other since... |

It happens to me quite often as well. I have found out about a little trick that seems to prevent many such situations though, at least when I remember to use it. When you realize you and another person are on collision course, turn your head a little bit to one side and then move so you'll pass the... |

One day, I will visit the San Diego zoo in California. I'll find myself a paying job, get a grip on my life and save some money and when I have everything prepared, I will travel to San Diego and visit the condors there. My mother will NOT wear me down. I now have a reason to live and an aim to reach. |

I don't know how things are where you live, but here in Germany many people hardly know anything about ASD at all. When you mention autism to them, they think of the Rainman movie and little else and they think that every autist has to be so deep into spectrum that they cannot do anything at all out... |

This is what I like most about WP: the way everybody can feel at home here, no matter if they're long-time residents of the site, newly joined or recently returned. Thanks for the welcome everyone and I hope everybody will enjoy their time here. |

I think my current experience with therapy might be helpful or at least give you some food for thought. It is highly subjective though, so it might be utterly useless as well. I did a "traditional" psychotherapy some years back and I couldn't really relate well with the therapist either. Many things... |

Hi everyone, I used to post on WP from about two and a half years ago to about one and a half years ago, so some of you may remember me. I took a break from WP because I didn't feel like participating and also my RL was going a lot better, but now things are more difficult again and I started readin... |

I'd be willing to translate your text to German for you (German is my native language). Just post your text here or send it to me via a private message. I'm afraid I cannot help you with a Russian version of the text at all. |

I'm going through a difficult time right now and I dropped in at WP to check on how things are over here at the moment. It's great to see that the community is still helpfull and friendly to each other and gives people a place to talk about things they want to share. It's good to know that WP is aro... |

To keep, I go for the fluffy, shepherding kind of dogs - Bearded Colllie, Polish Lowland, Tibetan Terrier and so on. Our current mongrel dog has also taught me to aprreciate the larger poodle breeds. To look at and be around, I prefer the large, athletic breeds. I've always admired Rhodesian Ridgeba... |

I can understand that this situation is quite difficult for you, just-me, but at least you can both prepare yourselves for saying that final goodbye. My grandfather went through a prolonged illness before he died, but once we knew something was wrong with him, he was unconscious and he never woke up... |

This might be something along the lines of ASD, but there is also other possible reasons. For example, some people start to show symptoms of dementia as early as in their fifties and dementia also makes it more difficult to admit that one was wrong or to express emotions or to accept criticism of an... |
