This is the first i've heard of most of these things. My IQ test was all over the place, so my doctor said it's Very High/genius, but I didn't get a specific number. |

I was denied housing once because the landlady in question had a 3-year-old son and when she heard I was autistic she told the person who was calling on my behalf that I might hurt her son. That's absolutely insane. He really needs help. People need to do a bit more research before they just jump to conclusions that all people with AS are dangerous. I will admit the guy did some questionable stuff, but that may not have been because of AS. All we need is worse image of people with AS. ... |

I think the closest we can come to love is finding a mutual ground with someone, sharing traits such as respect, loyalty, trust and just selflessly giving and being devoted to one another in a relationship. My stepfather is a policeman, and he said that it's really unfortunate in AL that many of the police here don't even know what autism is much less know how to deal with it.
