You can get them from between $15 and $50 at a thrift store. I really don't care for more than $50 worth of ceiling fan. I am more particular because I am likely to stare at them quite a bit (as does my son). So it has to be "right." I stare at the computer screen. So a screensaver you can download...

Ster, This is by no means meant in a negative way (I just wanted to state that in the beginning). Just a few years ago, one of my best friends quit taking her Lithium after being on some dosage of it for many years. She killed herself shortly afterwards. She began with the idea that she didn't need ...

Oh yeah. I NEARLY forgot this one: Our local Supercenter is having air conditioning troubles---for the past 5 years. So, when the air turns on, the noise is unbearable. Grinding, warbling, and chuffing. The noise of it absolutely consumes my thoughts and I usually leave without completing my shopping.

Yes. Here is a list of things at the grocery that I can not stand: *lights *shuffle walkers or people who walk noisily *loud cell phone people *crinkly noises in some aisles---like the chip area *dirty flooring--sticky or slippery *out of place items or items placed in an illogical area *beeping at ...

I have no medication to recommend. I just wanted to send you a hug and warm wishes.

Have you considered that this latest round of depression could be post-partum depression?

I have no idea how old your child is or what your overall symptoms are, but I thought that it was worth mentioning.

1. When were you diagnosed? When I was 23. 2. What else are you diagnosed with? At different times in my life, I have been diagnosed as having depression, anxiety, being obsessive/compulsive, and being a manic depressive---none of which were precisely right. I've been on many different kinds of medi...

John is right. Where have all the Down's Syndrome babies gone? That's what they'll do to us when they get prenatal diagnostics. Lots of people---me included---didn't do any genetic testing during pregnancy. I'll love whatever God sends me. So...I see no point in finding out. We knew that we w...

He could be experiencing delayed echolalia....recalling entire conversations that were had around him or on television shows. My son does this and alters his voice to reflect another speaker. We love it because he did not speak for years. He can recall conversations that were had months and sometime...

YES! Katrine---you hit the nail on the head. My son had severe sensory issues, and, after sensory integration therapy, he now FEELS pain. Before, there were actually several incidents of him causing harm to himself (standing in fire ant beds---seeking them out, poking his own eyes, scratching himsel...
