Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know about this term Indigo children having something to do with autism spectrum? What do you know about it? I just heard of it in connection to autism and it seems like, well, like BS. What do you think or know about it?

Mostly I like the same not-too-short list of foods from one day or week to the next. But my desire to eat a certain food fluctuates. I love strawberries, but at a certain moment may really not feel like eating them, even if someone is offering. Also, I like to eat in a particular way. For example, I...

98% I read non-fiction. Every once in awhile there is a fiction book I really enjoy and get into. One problem I have identified for myself in reading fiction is that I do not get a mental image of characters. They are just vague blobs as far as a visual goes. If there is a description of the person ...

Some days I think it may have already happened and the androids simply have not told us because we are too stupid to understand.

Looking for others who have taken the 23&Me genetic test, or want to, to discuss information found therein. For those unfamiliar, 23&Me is a large, ancestry and health gene testing service who test your DNA from a self-administered home saliva test. Then your results are posted online and yo...

I had avoided looking at videos on that dimension of android use, but no doubt, it will be very popular. Maybe it is a good thing. Males and females are constructed with differing drives which can be problematic for both sexes. Androids could fill the void, so to speak. My guess, within 10 years, an...

The websites where I looked up gene information are the Gene Card Human Gene Database, Weizman Institute of Science and an article published online from European Journal of Human Genetics, Jan. 18 2010 which has an image of the gene sequence in 7q.11.23 where Williams syndrome deletions are located.

Hi Ravenclawgurl, The raw data is available on the 23 and Me website. You (the customer) just logs on and goes to the Raw Data page. This is a searchable data base, very easy to use. You only need the name of the gene. You enter that, and it comes up with the allele combinations for every SNP (singl...

or the achievement of a more clever imitation of sentience. That is what I thought after the initial awe of watching Bina48. But how do we know if we cross the threshold? Andriods do bring up a lot of philosophical questions. I look forward someday to talking to one like Jules the Robot: https://ww...

Bina48 is a social android robot designed to incorporate the attitudes, beliefs, and mannerisms of a real person, Bina Rothblat. Bina48 has been around for about five years and she is capable of learning and evolving. Apparently it is going well, because she/it has recently stated that her/its great...

I took a genetic test at 23&Me, which amazingly gives you online access to the raw DNA data for your entire genome, as well as lots of graphs and charts that tell you where you fit in among other humans who have taken genome tests. All that is interesting, and they include an estimate for Neande...
