Not that I wouldn't have loved them, but I don't know what I would have done if a child turned out like me, but with even more serious health problems. I wish you and your daughter the best. Are you of German desce... |

I've been on the forum a while, but never really posted. I decided to start posting because my husband started sharing my dx with his friends, so that they would understand me a bit better. With that said, i understand that i must be a bit different, so i asked his friends what i do that they consid... |

Daughter had an assessment for Medicaid services for her AS and ADHD, made me feel sad she is a chip off the ol' block. I had a hard time growing up with the same dx and she's following me. Wish i could help her more, but i feel helpless, directionless even in my own matters. siiiigh |

...if your high school calculus teacher answers the question "Should I use the chain rule or something else?" with "yes" and you are the only one in the class laughing hysterically at his Boolean humor. i was the only person in my logic class to laugh at the professor's jokes. I didnt just chuckle,... |

My fathers side is very quirky and shy. My father was shy but not quirky. His brother was very odd. I think my first cousin is a near asperger miss. Moms side, nothing. Dad's side is very very quirky. I'd say quiiiite AS-ish. Distant, rude...... his brothers have OCD and other sort of stuff like th... |

But.. when someone asks me my opinion about something, i'm at a loss for words and cant convey what I truly want to say, and i talk in circles. 2) I cant lie, can... |

Sometimes. Often I can say, 'that meltdown was because... I missed the bus (for example)' but lately I have been having meltdowns randomly. I do sort of know what is causing them, but no one specific thing is making them happen, it is a whole pile of stress... Oh, my! That never crossed my mind! I ... |

i've kind of gone through something like this... You did something to offend her, so she tries to get equal.... Seems that your girlfriend doesn't really want to hurt you per se, but when people get emotional, they will hurl anything at you that they know will hurt you back. when it is all said and ... |

I am not quite sure. I started getting agitated/frustrated/overloaded til the point of me nearly lashing o... |
