Yes, I'm studying to be a teacher. The class I taught was 8 senior high school boys. I did a lesson on baking muffins instead of cupcakes for a snack. I started by showing them a video of a female stunt pilot. I'm a licenced airplane mechanic so I thought it would be kind of fun and different for th... |

I've been taking a class that required me to work with a teacher. I taught a class by myself one day. I got my evaluation on my experience. The teacher that I was working with made the comments that I have trouble reading social cues, has trouble engaging in socially appropriate behaviors, has troub... |

I'm 53 and so far my AS has been an unknown nusense. Since self diagnosis from several tests on this site and a few others here and there most of my struggles now make some sense. I've completed an AAS degree in aircraft mechanics and have enough credits to have 2 BS degrees but no degree because I ... |

Been thinking about self diagnosis for myself as an adult with AS. I came up with a few other issues I've come across where self diagnosis has worked for me. Run to the bathroom every 1/2 hour sit with a bucket on my lap. Can't take it anymore so I go to the dr. He says, "Yep you're sick. It's a vir... |

Does anyone else hate having stuff in your hair. Every time I have to get my hair cut they always put 'stuff' in it. The stylist always promises it won't feel sticky. I always go straight home and take a shower to wash the sticky stuff out of my hair. Can't stand anything in my hair. Anyone else? |

Not at all. Making shopping lists is one of the smartest things I do. My lists are pretty random and I have can have all sorts of things like milk, butter, eggs, duct tape, purple paint, pink yarn, black socks, fishing weights.......Walmart here I come! I couldn't possibly remember all this. My list... |

Is it normal to second guess everything you do? Like wishing I had done/shoulda/coulda/woulda just about everything in my life so far. Been suffering from massive hives and heart palpitations for the last month from stress over what appears to be a really bad choice when I attempted to return to sch... |

Now that I've figured out a lot of my past problems are AS related. now I know why, how to I fix it? Can I fix it? I've always had trouble sticking to anything for long. I find something I want to do and go full bore for a while and all of a sudden I lose interest or get to a point I don't care if I... |

It's a hard lesson to learn, but not everyone is interested in things I am. Most people, in western culture anyway, are only interested in themselves. Have you looked at the thread of social rules. One of the rules that is hard to get used to is that when people ask you how you are, the proper respo... |
