So I'm trying to gather info on how people with autism were treated during WWII in order to help bolster my thesis that the war crippled autism research by forcing doctors like Hans Asperger to bury or destroy their work in order to protect their research subjects. I think I've managed to find some ...

My misanthropy stems from this very simple thing: I have seen the good humanity is capable off, the beauty we have created and the fact that others don't seem to be able to see that leads me to hate my own species. We're capable of incredible technology, beautiful works of art, cooperation on an unp...

How many of you have actually been to a Chuck E Cheese or something similar? The robotic figures can look freaky as hell.

I can only imagine how horrifying it would be if they were actual robots and not animatronics stuck to one place. It'd probably be 5 Nights for real.

Asking me to pick my favorite male characters is like asking me to pick a favorite food: There's too many for me to count! Needless to say, most of them wind up following a pattern: Pretty bishie boys who can still kick six kinds of ass. Right now I'm on a major Castlevania high, so I'd have to say ...

After learning about some rather interesting philosophical concepts, I came up with what I think is an interesting fan theory. I can't remember if it's Plato or Aristotle who came up with it, but one of them suggested that humans should be bred like we breed dogs, those with the better genes and the...

Oh mah gawd I can't tell you how many obsessions I have. Right now, it seems to be a mix between Castlevania, Kuroshitsuji, the fact that I think Pro-Lifers suck and how awesome Homeboy Industries is.

I'm leaning more toward Castlevania and Kuro right now.

^^^ I think another great example of philosophy coming from weird places comes from what I've actually learned from one of my favorite mangas, Kuroshitsuji: Everything comes with a price you will inevitably have to pay somewhere down the line. Yeah, Ciel might enjoy having a loyal butler willing to ...

I'd probably be more scared if I wound up with an NT kid as opposed to a kid on the spectrum.

Asperger's already messes with my perspective of things, so how in the wild blue hell am I supposed to help a kid who's not even close to the spectrum survive in an NT dominated world?

For a king to survive, it's good for him to be able to skillfully manipulate the other pieces using the knight and the queen. Beneath the throne, the bodies of your pieces will pile up along with your sins. You must not lose. - Sebastian Michaelis, Kuroshitsuji If you're gonna become a dictator and...

I put 'superpowers' in quotes since what I mean is odd things those of us on the spectrum seem to be capable of. I noticed that I seem to have this uncanny ability to find people on the spectrum or who may be on it. More often than not, I seem to be able to find people who are Aspies, autistic or ot...

I...have mixed feelings about LoS since I'm not a big fan of reboots but at the same time Castlevania's old enough to warrant one. Maybe I'm just upset that they're abandoning the original timeline. We still don't know what happened with the 1999 incident Julius mentions in Aria. Maybe I'm just easi...

Let's see...my first Castlevania game was Circle of the Moon or Harmony of Dissonance(can't remember which.) Then I got Aria of Sorrow and some time later Curse of Darkness, Order of Ecclesia and Portrait of Ruin. I also have Lament of Innocence, but I haven't been able to get too far in it.
