If you can stand to hear the truth you've spoken twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools...Kipling octobertiger is a knave. I am not a good guy. My advice is simple but not easy. If you follow my advice you will find hardship but your life will be your own. Octobertiger is likely both simple and ...

Do 'smart men' 'hang out' or are they too busy living? A 'smart man' is motivated and tends to attract no moss unless he is in an obvious social situation such as a party or nite club and even then, a 'smart man' is likely networking. Scumbags and psychopaths hunt women for sex. Losers troll for wom...

In the US many unarmed and innocent people are killed by police involving themselves in domestic disputes.

You have to protect yourself from both sides. This is what makes these things so hazardous.

Humor is about timing. It is about knowing your audience well enough to say the right thing at the right time. Timing is an intuitive thing that I really suk at, therefore my sense of humor is considered odd and/or brutish. I tend to withdraw from humor in a group setting unless it is a practiced ro...

I think it is the case that most human reactions, whether autistic or NT, are reactions in some way to the environment the individual finds himself or herself in. I concur. At issue with autistics, I believe, is that our senses alter our perception of our environment and therefore cause 'typical' a...

I'm game. - impairement in the use of multiple non verbal behaviours I don't listen well. I listen intently but I don't comprehend the spoken word well. Because of this, I concentrate on the syntax not the tone. I concentrate on the data not the information. To ensure I get the data right, I look at...

Sorry about the poop and pot line. I did not mean to sound so harsh I have now eaten dinner. This will be shorter and not so harsh. We always had a rule, again my insistence, that whoever cooks, the other does the dishes. I set this up during courtship. I believe that couples who work on and accompl...

Sorry this is so long. You covered a lot, so I am responding with a lot. I am an Aspie man and married. I was diagnosed at age 40 after 3 years of marriage. I am now 44. My wife is 13 years my senior. It is easy to commit to a person. It is far harder to commit to a marriage. They are NOT the same. ...

Option 1 is far worse than option 2. If you were to fall into option 1, you have lived your life, your youth, in fear. No one is afraid who has experienced option 2. Being rejected is not the end, it is the beginning. Quitting without trying due to fear for yourself is cowardice. A coward will never...

Addiction is the continued use of a psychoactive drug, or the repetition of a behavior despite adverse consequences.

What are the adverse consequences she is referring to? If there are none, addiction is not the proper word.

My father is very different. I figured out that I am very different when I was 15. I also figured that if dad 'had it' and I 'have it' that the issue was likely genetic. I was not diagnosed until I was 40. I got fixed so I can't have kids when I was in my 20s. I figured that whatever I have, would b...

Fear of the loss of your crutch is normal. The more fear, the more important it is to drive it out before it defines you. Many, many people on this forum have overcome ticks and stim behavior so they could fit in better and be more productive. Ask yourself this, do you want to have a relationship wi...

One other thing, I don't quit. You have potential. If you don't quit on you, I won't quit on you. We only lose when we quit. He conquers who endures. -Persius Don't quit. Endure this. Conquer it. It will define you as a winner or a loser in your own head which is the only place that ever mattered an...
