Either I'm right on the nose with my self diagnosed Aspergers syndrome ( or at least some form of ASD ), or I'm a buzz-killingly serious, quintessensally lazy and overall boring guy. I've done some progress; I don't think all people are ignorant, I don't think people are leading meaningless lives, I... |

it's that people like labelling other people and labelling themselves also. It isn't only aspies who don't label themselves, some NTs don't like labels either, but they are also on the fringe of society, for different reasons. I struggle with the fact that I should just 'come out of the closet' so t... |

good advice Janissy. through and through. my friends call me Grinch because I usually don't participate in their social endeavours, but they know more now than before. They don't invite me to clubs or parties, but if some sports are being organized, they let me know. so you probably refused an invit... |

this is typical behaviour, you know. the same way you can't relate to NT people. It's a two way avenue.
this is one aspect that sucks about the deal. |

yeah but Fox's been picking up people left right and center, just for the sake of it, it seems. It would be a nice way to diss out MSNBC ( them right? ). just like they got that dude from public radio. I get all my american news from Stewart/COlbert, my opinion has to be taken with less consideratio... |

I know what you feel. Obviously, we don't fit in, and we probably never will. What saves us is we are candid, usually more mature than our age group and calm by nature. then, If you're lucky enough to be good looking, WHAM BAM peeps are gonna like you. get used to it, and get used to the fact that p... |

India isn't the only country that has social casts, buddy. people just want to know what's written on your tag, they figure if it reads ' homosexual horror writer ', you're as queer as $h*t and you're messed up like Poe. It's comforting for NTs to be able to tag people. some embrace the concept. why... |

not me I hate drinking. drunkness, I find, inserts itself slowly and softly, but when it leaves, it's painful and it messes me up.
good for you if you don't feel hung over, but how much do you drink on a typical night out? |

this is probably one of the most frustrating aspects of AS, in my opinion. I don't talk unless I have to convey a message of -some- importance, whereas NTs seem to have an uncanny abillity to steer conversations in ways that seem SOOOOO boring to us, speaking of nothing, or nonsense, all the while g... |

is there a rational reason why she brought your desk/table downstairs?
wouldn't she be open to change her mind?
if not, it might be time to start your teenage crisis even if it's a little late. |

yeah, everyone reacts differently. there are 'bad trippers' and 'good trippers'. Most people I've smoked with don't really react well to the buzz, they get nervous and they have paranoïd gestures. I don't know why they still do sometimes... peer pressure? Otherwise, marijuana relaxes me and it slows... |
