Bipolar disorder is characterized by normal behavior punctuated by episodes of extreme behavior. Because of this, it is usually not immediately noticeable (depending on how quickly you cycle).

When I got a diagnosis of Bipolar II, I was prescribed 200mg of Seroquel XR. While on it, my waist circumference expanded by 6 inches. I moved onto another medication months ago, and I'm still trying to lose the weight. From what I've read, Zeldox is known to cause sedation, but it is less likely to...

Everytime someone hears that I like the Simpsons they always ask if I watch Family Guy, and tell me how excellent it is. I can't watch it for more than 30 seconds. It's as if someone recorded a few loud annoying people shouting, then animated it. Unsubtle garbage. Conversely, South Park is unsubtle...

I am experiencing the brunt of this now. Knowing how it feels to be ostracized from all friends more than once in my life, I genuinely hope that all of the readers' future social endeavors are to last.

I think that it depends on the invididual aspie, as it would for the individual NT. Personally, I can do without tattoos. I know that I would come to regret anything that I would get now at some future date.

Life hasn't been going well lately, and I've been drinking heavily. To be honest, I'm rather drunk right now.

I had a roommate who was a cast member in Rocky my first year of college. We would get drunk and watch the film more than once per week. I was hesitant at first, but it really grows on you (much like the transformation undergone by the main characters).

On the other hand, grinding through College may not be your best bet, particularly since you are already getting paid for your skill set. Oh man, the money is great. The internship started at $10 an hour, they gave me an assignment they expected to take all summer, I finished it in a week, and they...

. . . When I got to college, things got much, much worse. I've failed twice as many classes as I've passed. I'm on the verge of failing English Composition 101 for the second time. The only good that comes of it is access to several technical libraries. I've become very knowledgeable on the topics ...

Through my entire life, I have managed to achieve a great deal of success while simultaneously performing miserably in school. The successful part, in case you care: I taught myself BASIC when I was 8 and was familiar with OOP at 11. The summer of my junior year in high school, I completed an intern...

You may not think that this is of psychological origin (and you may very well be correct), but consider it as a wager with two possible outcomes: 1. If the police really are following you, your psychologist can confirm t...
