I prefer to drink by myself, and when alone (in general too!), it mellows me out... the more I drink, the more scattered my thinking becomes and my typing/walking/speech is slowed and ultimately scattered just like my cognition! In a social setting, it too, mellows me out. Also, I become either loud...

When it comes to Christmas, I am a distant cousin of the Grinch. However, a steady flow of booze, spending most of my time in my room with my three cats, seeing my "people" regularly, ear plugs, hiding under the covers, Solitaire, coffee, and more booze helps me to tolerate it just a little bit. If ...

My Seasonal Depression is in full swing... and I have recently "remembered" my self imposed remedies: >6000 mg of fish oil (6x1000 mg capsules) >4000 iu's of Vitamin D (There are several Naturopathic Doctors out there that recommend more than the standard 1000 iu's, such as http://www.mercola.com......

Personally, I am against medication for the most part, particularly SSRI's, Antipsychotics and ADHD meds. I do know of some people who have actually benefited from medications for the better, however I would STRONGLY recommend they seek alternative therapies first! I took Venlafaxine a couple years ...

Screechy breaks on vehicles, loud coughing, overly loud TV's when I want quiet, screaming babies and children, whiny voices (makes me want to B*tch slap them silly!), screamo music, high pitched voices and laughs, strong winds whistling in my ears. None of which are in order. I take the city bus dai...

Generally I am pretty good with taking Public Transit. Even in my town of roughly 32,000 people, we have a fairly decent system (so yes, it is hourly on most routes, not-so-hourly on the longER routes) On the busiest routes, they run every half-hour at best, which happens to be before and after the ...

Thought I'd throw this in here... There ARE not-so-people-skills jobs out there. Many years ago, my mother suggested, seems I like walking so much plus at the time I was a newspaper girl, that I consider being a Postee (as in Mail carrier for Canada Post). I'm 21 now, just finishing a year of colleg...

Canada appears to be turning into another "Lawsuit Hungry America" in which people can sue for the STUPIDEST and most UNPREDICTABLE things!! ! (BTW to you WP'ers in the USA, this is an over-generalized/highly sarcastic statement, so no need to jump down my throat!) What MORE could the poor driver do...

I sit in the Priority seats at the front all the time. BTW I am a daily bus rider. For some reason, I feel more secure in those spots. Plus, most of the bus drivers in my town are fairly sociable with their passengers, and therefore I sometimes like to engage in some chit-chat with them :) HOWEVER, ...

I cry over trivial things aka not knowing where or how to begin on a major assignment, or if I am really behind on school work. I am afraid to ask for help, nor do I like asking for help. Might be due to a deep-rooted fear of "sounding stupid" ****these 1st two are deeply intertwined I get excited a...

Anytime I encounter someone with a whiny voice, I want to smack them across the head and tell them to STFU. Sooooo annoying!

Loud "yelling" voices, high pitched voices, and excessive use of the word "Like" annoy me beyond the point of annoyance as well.
