Perfumes, and artifical flavors in soaps and shampoos, do not mix well with human odors. This. No scented products are allowed in my home. It makes me sneeze, get headaches, and feel nauseous depending on the smell. I'm not the best at keeping up with hygiene. I shower 3 times a week on average. I ...

If it's sad or suspenseful, I rock. If it's happy and exciting, I spin. I do this with music too.

Yeah, that is precisely where I always fail. I have trouble just listening to people's problems in a detached manner. Listening to their problems starts causing me distress. And the way that I deal with it is to try to make the problem go away, which is usually through advice. Otherwise, I have ver...

Familiarity breeds contempt? What I consider to be negative traits in myself are very difficult to deal with in others sometimes. Though, if I know someone is an Aspie and they do something that I find offensive/irrational, I let it go. As for NTs, I will usually call them out and tell them why some...

I turned my back on the world after routine bullying took its toll, and five years of my life were spent in a time-loop of procrastination, even the rigours of personal hygiene were too much of a chore to maintain. An apt description of my mental and emotional state at the time would be a feeling o...

This.

People definitely notice I'm different, but they don't mind. It's like the Guild show. Everyone is a misfit on some level, so everyone fits in with each other fine.

I'd say #1, but I wouldn't recommend any one to go to college unless they plan to do engineering or medical... I agree with this. There are numerous unemployed people with masters and phds. Unless the job she wants requires a degree, I recommend certification instead. Or even on the job training. I...

I use earplugs. However... I can still hear people whisper with them on, not to mention the things I am trying to block out. (Is this supposed to happen?) Does anybody know of a particularly good brand of earplugs, or something better than earplugs? I like Chameleons, but you have to be fitted for ...
