| Like the title says, I wish I could get a job. I would like to be able to earn my own money and have some independence. | I am no prouder of my AS than I am of the fact that I have blonde hair and blue eyes. It was simply something I was born with (unless you subscribe to the idea that it is caused by vaccinations), and so I don't see it as anything to be proud of; the things I can accomplish because or in spite of it ... |

| Quite often when I first tell people I have AS they don't believe me. Even the people who have seen me had a complete meltdown don't always believe me at first. |

| I feel human. School is hell. When I am there, I don't feel like a human being. I feel completely numb. It isn't until I'm out of there and can pretend it doesn't exist that I feel real. | Social network sites are the only way I really get to talk to people. I don't have the worry about body language or eye contact or any of that annoying stuff. I'm not good at using MSN or facebook message though, because it is so much like talking it person. I don't like the way sites keeps changing... |

| For the past three years I've gotten under 20% in pretty much every single Maths test. To be honest I'm amazed that I actually passed my school certificate. Writers cannot do math certainly applies to me. |

I feel human.
