Interesting point about external motivation. I find it helpful, too, up to a point. Having it portable is worth a try. I'm checking into goosync - waiting to see if my device is supported. Thanks for the info. Now and then I'm good for 1 or 2 days of on-task work with external motivation - lists, al...

Lucky you. I can't help but be extremely focused on how few - how low a percentage of asd's this is - that there is a positive outcome. Please - tell me I'm wrong.

At 23 you are too young for this. Get yourself to a good doctor who knows how to help with this. Conventional psychiatrist or holistic for natural supplements to address your depression.

it can change. It's biological and someone really good may be able to help you straighten this out.

great that you feel good about it now. Get your issues resolved while you're young. I'm close to 60, never had the benefits that have been available the past 10-15 years, and am just discovering I'm unemployable with so much debt I don't know how I'll get out of it, let alone keep my house, my pets,...

My perception of time is elastic. Sometimes it takes forever, then all of a sudden a whole lot of time has passed.

I do. I wish I was born NT so I could have had fun with groups of people, not be shut out all the time. Maybe it would have been the diff that meant I got married and had kids, grandkids. I'm real tired of not having someone to share day-to-day life responsibilities with. I'm almost 60, in debt b/c ...

Hospitals usually have social workers to help patients. How about calling the hospital and asking to speak with a social worker, explaining your concerns, and seeing if he or she has any suggestions to help you?

I'm straight, but have gay friends. Maybe someone gay can chime in on this. Your question - aside from sex what makes the attraction - seems a good one. Gay people I've known prefer personality qualities of same sex folk, so it is more than just about the sex. Some lelsbians I've spoken to just don'...

That seems a strange comment. Art is most importantly for the artist creating it. Keep at it and make lots of it. Artwork always evolves and that's a lot of the fun for me - to see what the changes are and how it matures.

Hello GammaGeek, I'm so sorry to hear you are having such a difficult time. These people you describe are abusive. No one should be spoken to or treated this way. It is important for you to find someone to tell who can help you as soon as possible. Maybe a friend or relative you can trust, a teacher...

This is amazing! You people actually know what I'm talking about with the Glass Wall thing? Is there any treatment for it? I like the task break down - using a time line. I know things take me a super long time compared to other people. It is a wonderful thing when something is completed, and on tim...

This is a really demanding, stressful and difficult time in my life. Lots of things w/ time limits have to be taken care of, and paperwork is always a serious challenge for me anyway. I'm missing deadlines which is making big problems. Here's the weird part - Even when know (aka, remember) what need...
