This is an interesting discussion. I, too, have felt that telling the truth feels like lying. I am aware where it stems from though. In my case it is related to overthinking and perfectionism. Even if it is a regular daily topic, I feel as if I'm lying when I do not provide enough evidence or fail t...

To answer your question, The fact that I am autistic was known before I was professionally diagnosed. My language development was delayed, I was stimming and friendships were hard to develop even as time passed by. I was diagnosed as a teenager when the diagnosis of autism became "approved of" in my...

As soon as I entered college, I observed that those who go on alcohol and drug intoxication sprees are more extraverted and sociable (read: loud, noticeable and noisy), thus the stereotype of college being equal with partying definitely showed. I attended some of those events from my curiosity, lear...

I have always had difficult and painful menses but it is not related to autism, perhaps my hypersensitivity to sound and light is magnified but other than that, NT women experience painful menses as well. It is normal for both NTs and autistics to be more sensitive during menses. Hormonal changes du...

MIght be true. At least I was under the illusion that it was at first glance... Specifically academic philosophy, hard science or physics subreddits... But I was wrong even about them. Sigh.

Living with a completely NT person and having a relationship with a NT is very difficult, but if it is the right person then everything works out well. I am a diagnosed Aspie and also have schizoaffective disorder. Along with the occasional meltdowns and shutdowns I also experience psychosis and ma...

And what is the nature of demoralization per se? Assuming that leaning toward a preference for moral actions is the basis of human nature, thus the occurence of mental maturity and development of self-image is present, what are the factors which slow down this process? If demoralization exists, then...

I am diagnosed with Asperger's / would be probably diagnosed with classic autism before because of speech problems and speech delay and other "inadequate" behaviour. I would like to know if the following is related to Autism/Asperger's or it's something else. I tend to have strong vocalized debates ...

I feel the same way. I copy others naturally.. take up everything from them very quickly, as if it is my natural instinct to do so. Otherwise I feel like I am not here.. feel like I am moving air. Something is so empty and thoughtless about that state. Empty as in without thoughts and emotions -- pe...

I scored 19, which "is indicative for problems with social interpretation."
I did not find the test confusing, at all. Especially the last questions were very similar to my own thoughts and actions. The first couple of questions were a little confusing, though.

This text can be a little confusing and disorganized. I need to pour everything out somewhere. So excuse me if i...
